Gossip Girl has a style all its own…and that’s one of the many reasons why I watch that show! Leighton Meester is in Lucky magazine for the August 2008 showing off her style.

This preppy, classy style has drawn the eye of many burgeoning fashionistas. Some designers have reported that the day after their clothing is featured on Gossip Girl, teen girls stop by their stores scrambling to procure a piece of the label for themselves. Though many designers donâ€™t pay for the exposure — the clothing is picked by Eric Daman, Gossip Girlâ€™s costume designer — some designers are indeed paying for the privilege to be seen by Gossip Girlâ€™s eager young audience.

So until we get to see the new season of Gossip Girl which will be extended because of the writer’s strike we will have to just try and copy their style.
