Heath Ledger’s Family Attends The Dark Knight Premiere

The Dark Knight premiered tonight (July 14) in New York and Heath Ledger’s family was there to see his last performance in a movie. (How surreal that must have been to see him…just like it will be surreal for us to see him.) Heath’s father left the theater showing a thumbs up.

Kim Ledger and his wife Ines – Heath’s stepmother – bypassed the red carpet and ducked into the theater to watch his late son play The Joker in the latest Batman film.

Also attending the premiere were Heath’s mother Sally Bell and her husband, and Heath’s older sister, Kate.

As his father Kim left, he was asked how it felt to attend, responding with the thumbs-up. He also told reporters it was “very good.”

I am so glad that his family got to see the movie first before the general public.

Kristen Bell Is Back On Heroes

It is being confirmed that Kristen Bell is returning to Heroes! Yay! I loved her character on the show. (She also does the voice of the narrator on Gossip Girl too.)

The actress reprises her role as Elle Bishop, an agent of the Company, who harnesses electricity to zap her opponents.

“I’m just happy to be electrocuting people again!” she [says].

This is so exciting!

I have been trying to find this photo shoot of Penn Badgley and Taylor Momsen, and finally I have. Have I ever said how fun it looks to work for those people at Gossip Girl?  Penn and Taylor look like they are having so much fun…and remember they play brother and sister in the show! But I’m going to say it again…It must be fun. I was in Drama Class when I was in school I would have loved to be in a TV show. Call me..LOL…

Heidi Montag’s Second New Fashion Line Look Book…WTF?

Heidi Montag has her Fall Line out at Anchor Blue…Although I like to make fun of her I can’t think of what to say either way. The pictures all looked they were totally airbrushed and she looks so fake. (I guess that’s  nothing new really!) But the site is fun…there’s a change room where you can see how the clothes look together and some fun wallpapers. What do you think?

My favorite of the group is the Hoodiewood…WTF? How did she come up with the names?

Heath Ledger’s Oscar Nomination Buzz Is Getting Bigger

The Dark Knight comes out in four days…and I’m getting super excited about it. And watching all the interviews on TV they have with the cast members is exciting but super depressing at the same time. Because when it comes to talk about The Joker the other members talk for Heath Ledger. Now, Oscar talk is in the works for Heath…

Michael Caine, one of Heath’s costars, says Heath was amazing in the role of The Joker. And when it was time to share the first scene with him he was floored at the performance.

The scene involved The Joker gatecrashing a black tie party.

What shocked Caine the most was that he was chatting with Ledger quietly before the scene and the Australian was quietly spoken, but when director Christopher Nolan called “action”, Ledger instantly switched into the slithering, despicable killer.

“I think it’s a performance, at a minimum, that is going to get a posthumous Oscar nomination,” Caine, who reprises his role as Bruce Wayne’s butler, Alfred Pennyworth, said. “It must do. That performance was extraordinary. You look at Heath, or you talk to Heath, and you don’t know where the performance comes from. It’s not like he’s a big, noisy character or anything. He’s just a very nice guy and then suddenly action is called on set and bang! You think: ‘Wow’. I was knocked over by it.”

I totally agree with him. Bring on the Oscar, Heath deserves it!

Big Brother 10 Cast Favorites And Spoilers

Big Brother 10 debuted last night on CBS. I am really excited to see what this season has in store since BB9 sucked so bad. So who are my favorites from the bunch?

Jerry…He’s been picked as the first HOH even before everyone met him. I think he needs to stop playing that he’s letting others manipulate him because he could go really far. I pick him to be at least in the final 3.

Keesha…She totally looks like a Dani (from BB8)! I can’t get over the resemblance. But she works at Hooter’s and acts like a blond. Hopefully, she won’t be the annoying one of the season.

Memphis…I thought maybe he would be cool. Him saying that he was a ‘mixologist’ kinda freaked me out but I liked him until I found out he doesn’t like Canadians. I hope he loses hardcore and that car he won. I hope it doesn’t start!

Jessie…you know people were so hard on this guy and put him up on the block right away. But I thought he was actually funny. Especially the line about wanting to ask Renny about how the dinosaurs were when she was younger. (or something like that) He’s funny and again people don’t appreciate that kind of humor.

Brian…this guy was smart…I think…he went right after Jerry and started manipulating him. But, I think it will be his downfall by spoilers I have seen. (I know the POV winner put Brian up on the chopping block and took down someone because of the way he has been trying to control everyone.) Too much, too soon?

I’m sure as soon as they start telling us about the twists the game will be truly on.
