Christian Bale Sticks Up For Heath Ledger’s Honor

Christian Bale appeared on the Today Show yesterday (July 14) to talk about The Dark Knight. (It’s really depressing when they start talking about Heath Ledger’s character and Heath can’t talk for himself.) Matt asked Christian about if the Joker led to Heath’s demise. I thought it was awesome that Christian finally said what so many of us wish we could say to the media…
So much was made of Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the Joker. It was such a dark role. In some way, perhaps, do you think in real life, it caused him to slip across some line of reality and may have had some role in his accidental death? Personally, I find it to be a complete lack of understanding of acting. I also find it very rude to try to create some kind of sound bite for such a tragedy. The man was a complex man, a good man, but you know what? I saw him having the best time playing The Joker. He was someone who completely immersed himself in his role. As do I. But in the end of the day, he was having a wonderful time doing it, He couldn’t have been happier doing it.

It was so nice to hear Christian Bale speak up and put a stop to that crazy gossip before it even got started. Heath Ledger simply made some bad life choices and in the end it cost him his life. It had nothing at all to do with his role of The Joker. I’m sorry he died but still, it is that simple. My hats off to you Christian Bale.

Im a very “strong” christian and I guess I have a couple questions on my mind..
I’ve been thinking a lot about dating.. but im not sure where to get going.
My coworkers have been telling me christian dating is the way to go.. so I’ve done a little studying on Rules about Christian Dating and found some stuff on google

Well Christian..I took my 6 yr old son to see the movie and when it was very quiet and no dialogue on screen he made a very wise observation: “that Batman and Joker just can’t seem to get along”….he loved the movie, we’ve watched it probably 25 times..and he knows a good part of the dialogue…well done…well done. (((RIP Heath…))
