Is it not ironic that Tessler says one reason they canclled the show was because... people weren't fans of the show, rather fans of Alex(debateable) THEN she turns around and has him sign on to another CBS show? What do you think is going to happen there? Same thing. I doubt it will draw in comparable ratings to Moonlight. So if there is the same problem with weaker ratings it should be canceled. I find it a very two faced action and am considering not tuning into three rivers in the fall. I am a fan of Alex, don't get me wrong.... but I will support him in otherways besides channeling into CBS. I have read all the comments, and find truth in all of them. I caught it a few months ago on Sci-Fi and was hooked after only one episode. I bought the complete series. I keep reading as much as I can online about how much everyone loves and wants th show back. Is there a possiblity that cbs will hear us and bring it back in sep. 09? I agree. I have never heard anything so ridiculous. I adore Alex O'Loughlin - I have all of his previous work on DVD and I look forward to all that he will do in the future. I do however love everything about Moonlight as well. I don't have to explain all the reasons I love the show, as the people reading this are most likely fans too. I will just say that ML is the best show that I have ever seen. It made me happy and I hadn't looked forward to seeing a show each week like I did ML since I was a kid. ML has a magic about it that brought millions of fans together to try to save it, and we haven't given up. I am so glad that I recorded each of the 16 precious episodes so I have had them to enjoy all this time - but I preordered my DVD at Amazon months ago and look forward to receiving it. It would have been lovely if WB had included extras, but I will take what I can get. I am also SO happy to see Sci-Fi airing those 16 wonderful episodes (beginning Friday, 1/23/09, 9:00 pm, EST). If we faithfully let Joel Silver and WB and Sci-Fi know that we still want more Moonlight - maybe the #s of DVDs sold and the viewer #s on Sci-Fi will make SOMEONE realize that it would be in their best interest to bring us new seasons of this classic show. I am still amazed that ML was just thrown away like it was for no logical reason. Alex himself said in an interview that possibly the cancellation was due to differences between executives, etc. The fans know that it had nothing to do with ratings, and Tassler's statement about Alex being the reason we loved ML is ludicrous. Does she think that ABC cares if people watch Grey's Anatomy because some people find that "McDreamy" guy hot? I think not. This PCA winner for Best New Drama which consistently won in its already difficult time slot - AND made it through the writer's strike and other problems - should have never been cancelled and it is never too late to bring it back.
