Since the happy wedding day on Saturday, Ellen Degeneres has had time to reflect. So she wrote a blog post about it.
“I had a big, big weekend. I got married to Portia de Rossi! Sorry, John Stamos… this one’s taken.”
And what about the expectations of the wedding?
“The wedding was everything we hoped it could be. I wish I could’ve invited all of you. But I have some pictures and video I can show you when Season 6 starts on September 8. I can’t wait to see them too… it was all a blur. See you then.”
And the closing?
“Blissfully yours, The just married Mrs. DeGeneres.”
Hayden Panettiere has a new sexy photoshoot for Prestige magazine. I keep cringing when I keep thinking about all those doves. I had pet doves a while back (that almost killed me) and they poop everywhere all the time. I wonder how many poop stains they airbrushed out?
John Mayer was cornered by TMZ the other day, and he decided he would talk about the breakup between Jennifer Aniston and him. BUT, he like anyone should have realized he should have stopped after he said that he ended the relationship. He might as well have said, “I loved the s*x with Jennifer, she was good in bed. But I was bored with her and I didn’t want to waste her time. So, I broke up with her.”
“If you guys are going to run stuff and run every lie under the sun, have somebody stand up for somebody,†Mayer said. “Have me as a man who ended a relationship stand here and write some truth. Have me stand up for somebody and write that Jennifer Aniston is the smartest, most sophisticated person I think I’ve ever met.
“She’s one of the most lovely people I’ve ever met in my life and I’m going through something that’s a very personal thing and you have to give that up,†he said. “You have to give everything up because you can’t have it all and it sucks.â€
“I’m sorry that the story’s not interesting,†the 30-year-old added. “But it’s about time that somebody stands up for that girl and I think she’s great.â€
Mayer reflected on the situation as “the most normal thing in the world – There’s no lying, there’s no cheating. There’s no nothing.
“People are different, they have different chemistry, they have different lives,†he said. “It’s not about years, it’s about going out with somebody, being truthful on the way in, being truthful in the middle and being truthful on the way out.â€
Again John, I love you, I wouldn’t mind if you had some groupies on the side, as long as you called me your girl, I’de be good.
Jennifer Love Hewitt is Health magazine`s cover girl for September 2008. Among the things that she talks about she mentions her one regret….she wishes that she was naked more often…
“I wish I had been nude from the time I was 12 until I was 28. I looked great! I so wish I had listened to my mom and grandma when I was 18 and would complain about some little tiny bump or feeling bloated,†she says. “I used to scoff and say, ‘No, I feel fat today!’ Now the joke’s on me.â€
I think I am there with her on that one. Up until I was 20, I had a smoking hot body…then I had children. My children are very worth it though. That and my big a**.
