John Mayer had a ’secret’ show on Tuesday and got a little chatty, here’s what he said…
“I know shit will end up on YouTube, but I gotta work it out somehow. That’s the problem with people today. Everyone sits in dark rooms and sends each other links, but it’s a connectedness without really being connected.â€
“I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately, which is different from the wondering you do when you’re drunk and in a club. When you’re drunk, you think you’re thinking, but really you’re just making these intense plans about how you can’t wait to get home and organize your Apple TV and songs.â€
I think he should lay off the sauce for a while…or get more sauce and start writing some kick ass songs…

I agree with you about writing some songs. And, I agree and disagree with the second part of his statement. I think for many people it is like “connectedness without really being connected.” However, their are others who become connected via the internet. It is no different than when we used to write personal letters to each other or having pen pals. I think the real difference is in the persons ability or desire to form connections or not. That is just my opinion
I honestly think that John rocks while he is drunk. And I don’t usually support the use of alcohol.
