I may make fun of The Hills almost all the time, but I am a huge fan of the show. Like if I saw Lauren Conrad I would probably squee with delight. But Charlize Theron just doesn’t get why the show is so popular…
“I realized that this f—ing show is huge,” Theron told MTV News Monday while promoting Battle in Seattle. “Now I’m going to ask you a question: Why?
“Why is it so big?” she asked. “It’s about nothing! This is a free country. Freedom of speech! You can tell me right now to my face that Reindeer Games was a piece of sh–. That’s totally fine.
“But The Hills is about nothing,” she continued. “I think the girls are beautiful and when they cry their mascara runs and that’s real, but I don’t get it! [Pause.] I am a nana. I’ll just take it. I am a nana. Maybe I need to watch the shows some more.”
I couldn’t see Charlize sitting and watching that show…but if she comes over to my house I’ll watch it with her! And is it just me or does she have a potty mouth?

I know this is Star magazine but it’s always neat how good of story they can make of something like this. They say poor Suri Cruise lives a lonely life. Star claims that Suri is only with her parents, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and no one else…
Whether she’s holed up in her $30.5 million Beverly Hills mansion surrounded by nannies and maids or at a Manhattan playground, Suri is rarely around children her own age because, a source explains, Tom’s very picky about other people’s kids.
“It’s really sad,” adds another source. “You can see how much Suri longs for someone to play with.”
Recently when Katie took Suri to NYC’s Chelsea Piers to play in its gym, the girl’s only playmate was her 29-year-old mom! “Suri takes a private class in a room in the back of the gym,” an employee says. “I have never seen her play with any of the other kids.”
On the rare occasions when she is around children her own age, Suri doesn’t know how to act. “She does not interact well with them at all,” reveals a source. “She doesn’t like to share because she doesn’t know how to — she never has anyone to share with!”
I really hope this one isn’t true. I could see why they try to be away from people though. Because of the paps. How can Suri ever make friends if there are cameras around taking pictures of her. I would feel awkward to talk to Katie at the park if I saw her and the cameras.

Milo Ventimiglia went to the USO right in the middle of the war zone back July. I had seen other pictures from the day but these are some special pictures that Milo took and shared with MensVogue. They are moving.
What inspired you to get involved and take a USO (United Service Organizations) tour? Whether you support war, or don’t support war, there’s no reason not to support a soldier. It’s a very honorable thing that they’re entering into.
How did your girlfriend and family feel about you going? Everybody close to me was a little nervous about me traveling abroad through a war zone, but the one message I got from everyone was to be safe and come home. Everyone was supportive. And everybody was happy when I got home.

Emily Osment was at the movie premiere of Soccer Mom last night. Emily looks cute but…I can’t get over how horrible that dress is! What is the point of it? Those fake tassels are really throwing me off.
