Charlize Theron Bashes The Hills

I may make fun of The Hills almost all the time, but I am a huge fan of the show. Like if I saw Lauren Conrad I would probably squee with delight. But Charlize Theron just doesn’t get why the show is so popular…

“I realized that this f—ing show is huge,” Theron told MTV News Monday while promoting Battle in Seattle. “Now I’m going to ask you a question: Why?

“Why is it so big?” she asked. “It’s about nothing! This is a free country. Freedom of speech! You can tell me right now to my face that Reindeer Games was a piece of sh–. That’s totally fine.

“But The Hills is about nothing,” she continued. “I think the girls are beautiful and when they cry their mascara runs and that’s real, but I don’t get it! [Pause.] I am a nana. I’ll just take it. I am a nana. Maybe I need to watch the shows some more.”

I couldn’t see Charlize sitting and watching that show…but if she comes over to my house I’ll watch it with her! And is it just me or does she have a potty mouth?

    She looks fantastic in that picture and she looked great in Hancock. But I can see where you are going with that potty mouth….

    I don’t watch The Hills either, but because it runs at the same time as one of my favourite shows.

    I watch it…I have a channel package that has shows in every time zone so there is no way I can miss a show I like. :) And right now when there is like four shows on a night that I want to watch it’s worth it.
