Kelly Ripa Does Shape Magazine

Kelly Ripa is the November 2008 cover girl for Shape magazine. Is it just me or does it seem like she is on every cover of this magazine? I don’t blame them though. She has three kids and is skinny and hot! Kelly gave this quote in the interview in the magazine about perseverance

“You don’t take one bad experience and go, ‘Oh, I’m getting out of the business,’ ” says Kelly. “I’ve learned that you persevere no matter what,” Kelly Ripa

Kelly is such a good role model. I think she rocks!

William Petersen Covers TV Guide

Posted by taylor blue on September 30, 2008 | 2 Comments

William Peterson is leaving CSI: Las Vegas soon, I’m still not happy about this at all! He is the October 6 cover boy for TV Guide too! William recently sat down with TV Guide and talked about his leaving and how there might be a CSI movie in the future. Here are some highlights from the interview:

On a ‘CSI’ movie: “I’d love to see us make a CSI film. It could be good if we did it right. The whole world is interested in the show. That’s the other reason Grissom isn’t going to die of a brain tumor.”

What William Peterson would like to see happen between his ‘CSI’ character Gil Grissom and Catherine Willows (played by Marg Helgenberger): “We finally have sex? Believe me, it’s been brewing all along. For me, anyway. They have this understanding with each other. There’s a different kind of respect Grissom has for Catherine that would preclude a relationship on that level. Grissom’s not going away forever, anyway. Maybe he’ll go to Mexico, then come back and take Catherine with him. A tequila holiday!”

On how Grissom will say good-bye: “We’ve been mapping out my last 10 episodes that will take Grissom from one place to another. There will be no brain tumor for four episodes. That’s the easy way out. We’re trying to paint it as we have done with Jorja [Fox] and Gary [Dourdan]. We’re trying to make it as real and close to reality as the show has been all along.”

Immediate plans following his ‘CSI’ departure: “The Chicago theater community breathlessly awaits my return.” [This fall, Petersen will star in the Steppenwolf Theatre Company's production of 'Dublin Carol,' the play he took time off to star in two years ago.]

On plans to return to the ‘CSI’ set? “I’m going to come back and see the guys on set doing episodes I’m not in. And I’m staying on as a producer. The show is important to me, and I’m not abandoning it. I’m coming back on some level. I just don’t know what yet.”

I’m already crying…I wish that my two favorite characters weren’t leaving!

The Gossip Girl Guys Do Details

The Gossip Girl guys, Chace Crawford, Penn Badgley and Ed Westwick, are on the cover of November 2008 issue of Details magazine. Here are some highlights of the interview included…

Chace on after his touch-ups are done: “I literally go into the bathroom and wipe off one layer [of makeup. My occasional zit is] a big deal—oh, they turn on the alarms for that. And they get mad if I get sunburned or if I get a haircut.”

Chace on being contracted for six years, like his costars: “It never really gets frustrating. Sure, sometimes you just want to have a scene where you’re drunk or having fun. I’m hoping for a fall from grace for Nate. Five years from now, I better have murdered someone!”

Penn on his on-and-off-screen relationship with costar Blake Lively (they were home-schooled together): “[It's] wonderful and also something to grapple with [in terms of mixing work and pleasure]. You have to draw the line somewhere. I’m fine talking about my family and personal history, because it humanizes you. But I have to save some s— for me.”

Ed on Penn’s chest hair: “Penn said he has to shave his chest hair because it’s threatening “Reeeaallly … Well, I think Penn’s chest hair may be more like a scaahf. It actually comes out of his neck! So maybe that’s why he has to cut it. Threatening? I don’t know what threatening hair would look like. We’d have to get Penn here to see!”

Ed on being miserable approaching the end of school in the U.K.:”I don’t understand how the government expects a 16-year-old to know what they want to do. It made me incredibly anxious and upset.”

The rest of the interview can be seen here.

Lauren Graham On Ellen Degeneres

Posted by taylor blue on September 30, 2008 | 1 Comment

Lauren Graham was on the Ellen Degeneres Show the other day. I love her! She always makes me laugh so hard. Plus, I think her and Matthew Perry should so get it on! She also talked about this juice diet that had me cracking up.

…“it’s very important to get [the toxins] out.” It’s Day 5 of the juice diet now, only eating juice (with just a little cheating), and perhaps that shows.

“No, no, no, I am I am. I’m totally doing it. With some extras, you know. Because they call it a ‘fast’ and I call it ’suggestions’”

After Ellen comments that Lauren is not really so much more crazy than any other time, but does look great, Lauren says:

“It’s the raw food, then. I’ll just say it’s that. Maybe I’ve been the same way all of these years because of the raw food… that I haven’t been having. OMG, I’m so… needing a pizza!”

It honestly should be the Ellen and Lauren show.
