We can’t get the magazine Entertainment Weekly anywhere in Canada that I know of…and right now I am super happy I subscribe to this magazine! Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart cover all three versions of the cover in the magazine available tomorrow. I wonder which issue I’m going to get. Twilight mania is just getting bigger and bigger!
Knowing that Prop 8 was passed makes me totally sick. I can’t believe that a world like this can deny people that love each other the right to get married. Ellen Degeneres has been a huge supporter of trying to get people to say NO to Prop 8. She issued a statement about the whole situation…
“Watching the returns on election night was an amazing experience. Barack Obama is our new president. Change is here. I, like millions of Americans, felt like we had taken a giant step towards equality. We were watching history. This morning, when it was clear that Proposition 8 had passed in California, I can’t explain the feeling I had. I was saddened beyond belief. Here we just had a giant step towards equality and then on the very next day, we took a giant step away.
“I believe one day a ‘ban on gay marriage’ will sound totally ridiculous. In the meantime, I will continue to speak out for equality for all of us.”
Now Ellen and Portia de Rossi’s marriage can be wiped away just because of this passing. Is this right? I don’t think so.

Hayden Panettiere and boyfriend, Milo Ventimiglia, were spotted cuddling on the Heroes set the other day. They are so cute together! I still like Hayden’s hair long. Why didn’t she keep it that way?
The latest trailer for Lost premiered Tuesday during the elections. I didn’t get a chance to see it but it looks great! Finally, I have some news about Lost. It’s returning in January…probably the end of January by the looks of it. There is going to be 17 episodes (an extra 2 to make up for the short season last year). The only really bad news is that it probably won’t run uninterrupted so they can the season in May during sweeps. It’s still not known what day it will be on either. But hey that’s what TiVo’s are for right?
UPDATE: A tentative date has been scheduled for the season five premiere…January 21, 2009 at 8 p.m. Yes, that’s a Wednesday and the same night as American Idol is on too.
