How smart is this campaign? This ad campaign is all about the graffiti…Blair (Leighton Meester) is a fake, Serena (Blake Lively) is a liar, Dan (Penn Badgley) is a loser, and Nate (Chace Crawford) is a cheater. What about Chuck (Ed Westwick) I wonder what his poster would say?
I was in the Dharma Initiative secret site today. And I saw this two minute sneak peek clip of Lost…Kate taking off after they asked for a blood sample. I love it. I always wondered if they would call her on it. Now I can’t wait to see the premiere January 21st!
There is one thing I really like about Christmas (besides getting up my new Christmas tree today!) and that’s Santa hats. Everyone can look cute in a Santa hat. How cute does Heidi Klum look? She was on the Today show this morning collecting gifts from everyone in the audience. It’s great that kids that can’t usually get presents can from things like this.
When I heard TheWB.com had an original show called ‘Meet Me In The Graveyard‘ – I totally blew it off without a second thought. I don’t usually have high hopes for short, original online series – especially after seeing the ‘Going Postal‘ webisodes for Heroes. But while hiding from family members during a loooong Thanksgiving day, I saw the name of the show when I was online, and for some reason I decided to start watching. What was supposed to be just a half-hour break away from all of the people turned into an hour. I didn’t want to stop watching – Meet Me In The Graveyard is oddly and fiercely compelling!
If you think maybe it’s just the name of the show that’s weird, you’re mistaken. The premise is, yes, also totally ‘WTF’-worthy. It’s essentially a story that shows you the webcam ‘mail’ interactions between a young girl, Viola, and a young man, Ace. Viola is in a mental insitution, and Ace is in a halfway home. Just like Romeo and Juliet, they fall in love despite the odds. That doesn’t even give away the story, though – don’t worry. There’s a lot more to this twisted and very well-acted tale with cats, lockets, graveyards, suicide clocks, mutes, puppets, ‘the female-sex type’, boyfriend contracts, and VERY creepy dolls. Basically, the most perfect combination of things ever, you know?
The genre? It’s a… mystery, a romance, a campy comedy, a genuine hilarious comedy, a drama, a thriller, and even a horror-type of show. Watch all 19 episodes of Meet Me In The Graveyard online. Each episode runs between 4-10 minutes. I know you probably don’t want to give this a shot, but I am not steering you wrong. It’s not dumb, it’s really interesting – so watch! You can also watch it on YouTube.
You can find love in the strangest places ever, man.
