Ellen Degeneres Takes Home A People’s Choice Award

Ellen Degeneres won the award for Favorite Talk Show Host last night (Wednesday) at the People’s Choice Awards. I swear that all of the people I picked won (except for Supernatural!)., And Ellen being Ellen had to make a funny acceptance speech…
“I wish I could share this with you,” DeGeneres told the audience while clutching her trophy on stage. “I could throw it on the ground and smash it into a million pieces, and give each one of you a little piece of it, but that’s violent, and that’s probably why you voted for me, because I’m not violent.”
Maybe we voted for you because we knew you would share? I want a piece of it…And Ellen also added to her speech…
“… and to my roommate, Portia [De Rossi], thank you very much, as well.”
That’s it remind them that you can’t be married anymore. That horrible government!
