Adam Lambert…The Next American Idol

I don’t usually watch American Idol, especially the American version, I hate that I can’t vote for the ones I like! Last night, the TV just happened to be on American Idol and I saw Adam Lambert singing Bohemian Rhapsody. I said to myself that if they let him go to Hollywood he would win it all. I know he is a bit theatrical but I’m sure that it will drop the more and more he gets coached along. (There are rumors that he is already in the top 50.) So here is my prediction that he is going to take it all.

Adam won’t win. he’s too good to be tied down to Idol. He’s gonna get cut towards the end and get an immediate record deal. it happens to the best every single time. Trust me, he WILL have a music career.
He definately is my pick this season. I don’t even think I need to see or hear the others. lol
I think he has the potential to win, yes. I don’t wanna pin too much hope on him because I did that with David A. last year and he didn’t win (thus I have a broken heart until now).
He’s great. I agree that better-looking contestants seem to be a little favoured by AI, but that’s all for marketability, so I understand.
Adam has a voice, a personality, great looks and a lot of potential. He could win.
Ef Adam Lambert. Bulls?^&. I hate the guy. So what if he can sing Rhapsody. Who effin cares? He looks like a weird goth. His voice is mediocre. Nothing superior or oustanding about his voice.

yeah i agree they are judging a lot on looks. that said, he has a great voice and he can be trained to not be so theatrical. he has a background in theatre so of course his audition is going to seem that way.
i think this guy will have a lot of female fans on his side, he has the whole heartthrob thing going on.

You clearly know nothing about singing. You may not like his style or type of voice, but he is the best male singer in the competition. Let’s see you get cast in professional theatre productions. Only great singers can make it at the Broadway level.
I absolutely agree! Musical theatre is very challenging. And I think Adam handled it very maturely during his stint as Wicked ensemble/Fiyero understudy. I saw him as Fiyero, and he handled the role very well. I was disappointed when he left the LA cast, but now I clearly see his reasons. But I would love to see him on the Broadway stage again.

I love this young man,I think he is truly gifted and the judges really like him. I just feel, that he looks too much like David Cook, doesn’t sound like him nor do they compare, but I think there is sort of a pattern with AI, think about girl, boy, girl, boy. But anyway, I would his music in a heartbeat, I tebo’d it and i play him again and again.

He has a great voice and he should appeal to a younger crowd. With that said, it’s interesting that Danny Gokey was the one who got through Group 1. According to a survey we’ve run, most people think Adam’s major competition will come from Matt Giraud.
He is SOOOO AWESOME! He was my favorite before Hollywood week was even over! He is totally the NEXT AMERICAN IDOL!
Adam Lambert should be the next American Idol. I watch his video on youtube everyday. I just can’t get enough of his voice. I love the song he does “I make you crazyâ€Â. I play it on my blackberry while I’m at work.
Yes, he is gorgeous, he has a fantastic voice, and he truly should win, but he may not…simply because he’s gay.
Clay Akin was the best by far in season three, but he didn’t win. I believe it was because he was gay. Simon didn’t like the way he moved his body on stage, he made bad comments about him, and American followed suit. The judges do have influence on the way America votes.
I pray that America will keep an open mind this year, and not show prejudice,
because Adam Lambert has the looks and sex appeal of Elvis Presley, the fire and excitement of Madonna, and both the voice and stage presence of a seasoned performer. He will be bigger than Carrie Underwood, and the world will be the loser if he doesn’t win.

he’s the best they’ve had so far! his music is addicting, i get excited to watch and see his performances, i cannot get enough of his videos and he better win!! no one even compares to his talent.
