Leighton Meester is featured inside the pages of the March 2009 issue of InStyle. I am beginning to like Leighton so much lately and realize she is nothing like her Blair character in Gossip Girl. This season seems to be focusing on Blair and how cool or not cool she is. About time! Now we need to get her back with Chuck!

Jennifer Love Hewitt spent the day today shopping in Burbank with a friend. She loooks happy and healthy, and I think I am in love with her purse. I could fit everything in there. Jennifer has been sounding off about the way people have been making fun of Jessica Simpson and her weight by telling people to leave her alone.
“Not everybody can be super tall and super skinny,” she added. “You have to look inside yourself and find your own confidence. It wavers from day to day, but that’s human nature.”
There is way too much pressure on weight these days. People should just be able to be who they are.

Kristen Bell and Michelle Trachtenberg attended the Jill Stuart Fashion Show. Also in attendance? Jessica Stroup (90210), Paris Hilton (nothing of note!), Nicky Hilton, and Amanda Bynes. I feel bad for poor Amanda who should have been next to Trachtenberg. I’m pretty sure Kristen Bell would have left if she’d had to sit next to Paris Hilton, lol. I would have! From the look on her face she’s not so pleased with who she’s seeing. I don’t blame her. Let’s dish on the fashion, shall we? No, not of the show, of the stars!
Kristen Bell looks a little prim with the total effect of her outfit, from the pale gray cardigan paired with a pastel watercolor-floral dress, nude closed-toe heels and clipped hair. Michelle Trachtenberg looks the best to me. Jessica Stroup looks okay but I’m not terribly impressed. Paris Hilton is almost flashing us, as always. Nicky Hilton would look great without the accessory of her sister, Paris. And though she’s sporting similar hair to Nicky, Amanda Bynes looks very pretty.

One of my newer crushes that I haven’t talked about is Tyson Ritter. (He’s in the band All-American Rejects and Beej’s cousin.) I blame Beej totally for this crush! When I saw this ad campaign Tyson did for Hugo Boss I had to show everyone. He’s amazing, and those eyes…WOW! I’m an eye girl totally. If I can’t stare into your eyes and they don’t speak to me I can’t look at you. Okay, the last part is false, but I love to look into eyes.
Right now Tyson is getting alot of heat for a comment he made about Lady GaGa:
“I don’t get her. I don’t think the song or the concept is as cool as people say it is. She’s supposed to be this high-fashion person but I don’t think the music fits. It’s not particularly edgy.â€
People are saying it was uncalled for but I have to agree with him. I don’t get her either. I can scratch my head about her all day.

I’m not sure how Vanessa Hudgens does it, but she makes getting gas look like fun. And so glamorous too! It is being reported that she could be in the new movie Dead @ 17, playing a murdered teenager that comes back to life to fight evil. Now that is a role I would love to see her do. I think she deserves to be known for something other than a singing Disney Girl. (I even watched High School Musical 3 today…it was way different than I thought it would be.)
