You know sometimes I get freaked out when guys wear tight clothes. I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because I can’t handle wearing anything tight myself. It makes me feel closed in. So when men wear tight clothes maybe I think they are going to smoosh things that aren’t supposed to be smooshed.
Ryan Gosling is one of those guys I’m okay with though. He can make anything look good. Maybe I’m biased because he’s Canadian but man, he can fill out anything nicely. I”m still sad about The Lovely Bones movie. I really wanted him to be in it. I can’t even look at a picture of it without crying because I wanted Ryan in it. This crazy talk is coming from being tired. I should just be quiet before I say too much.
I wonder if Peter Facinelli is really handing out butt kickings? I will volunteer first please! I guess he is because of a story that was published about his wife, Jennie Garth, being mad that he doesn’t cook for her.
Peter wrote an email to clear up the situation that Mark Malkin started:
“Lets not try to make a ‘meal’ out of this. My wife was joking. The reason I stopped cooking so much is because she’s better at it. And most nights I take her out to eat anyway. She’s not ‘pissed off.’ So lets not try to stir up some controversy where it doesn’t exist.”
Just the other night though Peter said he wanted to kick Mark’s butt…
“Tell Marc I’m going to kick his ass. Tell him if I see him, I’m going to kick his ass.”
I guess they have kissed and made up now. Mark will be having dinner at Peter’s house in no time. (Peter, I want to have supper at your house too!)

This up and coming band that hails from Nashville, Tennesse (Around the parts yours truly originated from) , is definitely a MUST KNOW! So, come on, crawl out from under that cute little homey rock and meet them! So, my fellow Adam Lambert fans, I tuned in Tuesday night, as we all do every week for “Adam Idol” and watched him perform a song recorded in 1965 by the incomparable Sammy Davis Jr. (a member of the Rat Pack of course) “Feeling Good”. As always,without fail, Adam left me feeling good, and confident that he had NO worries, and would sail right through the elimination without any issues what so ever. Now, let me tell you guys, I, and FOX have realized that Adam Lambert is their ticket to ratings. You know most tune in to see Adam perform, and to make sure he’s safe, which leads to huge ratings, and as soon as we see him, we change the channel, which makes the ratings drop. So, now, as a result of that epiphany by the network, we all painstakingly sit through the rest of the traumatic performances, while our sweet, sweet Adam is forced to go near last every single time. Do we stay put and watch it for him? Of course. He’s worth the torture, because the second he opens his mouth and that voice flows from deep within him, all of the irritations we have just melt away. At least for me. So, usually, I forgive them pretty easily for making me sit through the torture. After last night though, I’m not going to be so forgiving. They hurt my/our Adam and that is unforgivable to me. The look on his face when they jerked him around, as they do so many of the contestants, trying to keep up the suspense when it came to elimination just broke my heart. They should not do that to anybody, but especially Adam. I miss the eyeliner, I miss the nail polish, I miss his theatrical influenced appearances, surely, but I continue watching because of his insane talent. If he’s “eliminated” I have no doubts that his career will be an extremely successful one, but if this is sincerely a talent competition like they keep pushing us to believe, then by all means the most talented SHOULD win, and ADAM LAMBERT should be the next American Idol. We shall see how truthful they’ve been with us all along.
J.J. Abrams was interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel on his show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, tonight. The interview just finished airing for the East coast, as I’m writing this. Abrams is promoting the new Star Trek movie. Kimmel called Star Trek a ’sacred world’, which I suppose it is. I wouldn’t really know, not having ever seen an episode. You would be fair in assuming I’m not their target audience! If I see this movie it’ll only be because of Zachary Quinto’s involvement. I’m not really a Sci-Fi type of person.
Kimmel said he liked the movie, and he thinks the ‘hard core trekkies’ will really like the movie. Ironically, Abrams wasn’t a huge Star Trek fan growing up. “We are sort of genetically coded to know that Kirk is Captain Kirk,” he joked.
Kimmel said, “Everyone’s happy except William Shatner, huh?” Why? Abrams said he wanted to be consistent, and his character died in one of the films. Shatner didn’t want to do just a cameo, so Abrams couldn’t rework everything to bring Shatner in the movie. But Shatner is NOT mad, Abrams insisted. “I love William Shatner.” Kimmel said, “I’d hate to see what you do to people you don’t like.”
“Star Trek fans are obviously a rabid bunch. Are you scared of him yet?” asked Kimmel. Abrams said he did the movie because they’ve kept the fandom alive.
“Did you shoot on location, or on the planet earth?” Kimmel wanted to know. I won’t reveal the truth! Okay, apparently one of the places they shot was a beer factory. “It was gleaming clean,” Abrams said. “Were you guys drunk all the time?” Kimmel had to ask. But no, they weren’t. Or so Abrams SAYS.
