It’s so nice to be able to post pictures of Adam Lambert not at American Idol. Adam attended the 17 Again Premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood last night. I’m sure that he is getting used to all this red carpet stuff. He better get used to it because he has a bright future in front of him.
I know, I am Team Vampire when it comes to the Twilight Saga but just stick with me here. Alex Meraz gets to be a really cool wolf and for that we have to give him a chance for.
In the new interview from Access Hollywood he talks about how cold Vancouver is. (Really, he is in the warm place of Canada right now, he should try being in the province over like me! COLD!) But he also says how lovable Canadians are…which he is 100% right on that one. It’s kinda neat to hear about how excited he is about the movie. It gets me even more excited to see the movie. November can’t come fast enough.
American Violet is inspired by a true story and follows the struggle of Dee Roberts, a young single African-American mother, to clear her name after being wrongly accused and arrested for dealing drugs in an impoverished town in Texas. An honest woman with a clean record and no hard evidence to justify the accusation, she is forced to risk everything she has in order fight unfair prosecution and the criminal justice system. American Violet stars talented newcomer Nicole Beharie, Academy Award® nominee Alfre Woodard, Emmy Award® winner Charles S. Dutton, Tim Blake Nelson, Will Patton and Xzibit.
Seeing the trailer you can see just how determined single mother’s can be. And I was a single mother once and I would do anything for my family. American Violet opens on Friday, April 17th.
I just finished watching the latest episode of ABC Family’s Greek called Engendered Species. I was surprised to see Janeane Garofalo as a special guest star! For years I loved Garofalo as the wise voice of Sally on Felicity, offering advice to a young Felicity Porter. In the same (sort of)Â fashion, Garofalo helps Casey in this episode. The wisdom might not be as deep, but man, this is a fun show!
I am so happy Ashleigh’s got a new man in her life, but I’m also loving the love triangle between Casey/Max/Cappie. I can’t help but wonder what will happen with that when I saw this Greek spoiler:
TVGuide.com: Might another gal be headed in Cappie’s direction next season? Scott Michael Foster: Um, Cappie will be dating someone next season. I can’t say who, but yeah, he’s gets together with someone.
