Johnny Depp Shows Off His Tattoos

It seems that since Johnny Depp is filming The Rum Diary we are getting to see a whole lot of Johnny. Hey, I’m not complaining either. He was spotted yesterday on the set and even flashed his tattoos so we could see them. The one on his forearm says, “Silence Exile Cunning“. (The three words come from a quote in a James Joyce book, “I will not serve that in which I no longer believe, whether it call itself my home, my fatherland, or my church: and I will try to express myself in some mode of life or art as freely as I can and as wholly as I can, using for my defence the only arms I allow myself to use – silence, exile, and cunning.”)

Nikki Reed Spotted At LAX

Nikki Reed was spotted at LAX yesterday outside having a smoke. It looks like they have sent almost everyone home in the Cullen family. Since Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli were spotted only a couple days before this.

I guess the family as a whole doesn’t really have that many parts in New Moon. But really they are my favorite part. I love them for the dynamic they have. And I have been studying it a lot.

And I have to note that I love Nikki’s glasses. Mine are on their last legs (or arms) and I haven’t decided which new ones I want. These are for sure cute. I actually think she looks better with them on.

Chace Crawford’s New Look For Twelve

Chace Crawford was in Central Park today showing off his new look for his new movie, Twelve. I talked a couple weeks ago about how Chace would have to change his look because he plays a drug fiend. I have to say that I am liking this scruffy looking guy.

Those blue eyes are so breathtaking. I can’t wait to see what else he’ll do. Again, I’m glad he’s doing a movie. He’s so talented, it’s about time everyone knows that.

Kellan Lutz & Peter Facinelli Hit LAX

I know I’m late with these pictures of Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli (my two favorite people in the world!) but I just got my hands on these today. Kellan and Peter were returning from the New Moon set in Vancouver and were hamming it up for the cameras at LAX airport. Peter’s smile is really adorable and has pretty much melted me to the ground.

I wonder what part of New Moon they are reading I hope for their sake they have already read the book or at least the parts that they are in. But I know how they feel, I haven’t even finished Breaking Dawn yet! I hope I do before that movie comes out.

The First Look At Alex O’Loughlin On Criminal Minds

I have been talking about Alex O’Loughlin returning to prime time television for a while now. And now we get the first look of Alex in Criminal Minds. The episode, The Big Wheel, airs next Wednesday (April 29th).

The episode goes down like this: When the team is sent a videotape from a serial killer (Alex O’Loughlin) detailing one of his crimes, they discover a hidden message asking them to help him stop his murderous ways.

Alex looks really creepy in these pictures. I can’t wait to see it!

Proof That Blatant Ignorance CAN Come In A Very Pretty Package

Looking at the picture above, ones first thought may be,”She’s very pretty”, and I’ll admit, she is somewhat aesthetically pleasing, UNTIL she opens her mouth. I’m sure that most everyone has heard by now, her ridiculous reasoning for her opposition on gay marriage, and if not, you may want to crawl out from under that rock, or maybe not. At least under there you’d be safe from her weak,half assed argument, that made absolutely no valid point.
In case you haven’t guessed it by now, I am definitely for legalizing gay marriages, but more on that later. Allow me to reinforce why people who are this close minded, and ignorant should not be allowed to speak. Ready?
Perez Hilton *Shaking my head* Bless his little heart, had to ask her what her view was on legalizing gay marriages.
Her answer? : “Well I think its great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be between a man and a woman. Thank you very much.”

*Still shaking my head* Are you serious? How does she remember to put her shoes on the right feet?
Now mind you, my beef with her is NOT that she is against gay marriage, even though I am openly supportive of it and the GLBT . No. My problem is that she is way too ignorant on the topic to have been allowed to try to argue her point. What point? Allow me to dissect the *sarcasm* FINER points of this answer for you.
“Same sex marriage or opposite marriage” Really? How is that a properly articulated sentence? A lot of these women are beautiful AND intelligent, how did she get to where she is speaking in this manner? Okay, next. “In MY country, in MY family” Alright, so what we derive from this is she lives in a completely different country, because in her country homosexuals are not allowed to be in love, and to be with the ones that they love? And she “believes that marriage should be between a man and a woman,no offense to anybody out there,but that’s how I was raised and that’s how it should be between a man and a woman”. It’s that kind of backwards,backwoods thinking that most of us have been lobbying against. Who are you, who am I, to say what love is to EACH individual? And why should we think that we house the right to judge someone based on who they love? It’s ridiculous! I’ve always thought that you fall in love,more based on personality traits than on what genitalia someone has.
What really disappoints me is that she is representing California, a state that is renowned for being more accepting and open minded.
And what saddens me even more, is when “Straight” people like that procreate, and raise more narrow minded people,how are we ever going to overcome all of this bigotry and hate, if it doesn’t start at home,with parents teaching their kids, that love is about acceptance.
You don’t have to believe in Gay marriage, or Gay rights, to each their own, but at least be able to have a more convincing argument than she did. And don’t even get me started on the “It’s an abomination against God” argument either, I could debate all day on that one.
In closing, the Gay community doesn’t tell you who to love, why should you try to tell them? If you don’t like their lifestyle, it’s simple, don’t live it. But don’t try to take away their rights as American citizens, or human beings even, that so many have fought and literally died for. What happened to “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness” ?  We ALL deserve that right. Regardless of  Sexual orientation, race, religion,etc! Search within yourself and find that ability to love and accept people unconditionally, that’s your homework for the year.
