Gavin Rossdale had some bonding time in a Manhattan park on Saturday with his son, Kingston. Kingston is one of my favorite celebrity babies in the world! They played at the park and then went out to Yogurberry to get something there.

I think it’s so cute how Kingston wasn’t paying attention to dad until he got on the phone. I can’t tell you how many times that happens to me. I don’t talk on the phone all day but as soon as I do they have super radar, even when they are outside they come running to talk to me at that moment. It must be kid radar.

Zachary Levi Throws A Ball For The Dodgers

Zachary Levi showing his beard got a chance to throw the first pitch at the Dodger Stadium last night. I know Chuck won’t be back until 2010 but really I am going to get used to this beard of his and then he’s going to shave it and I’ll have a temper tantrum just like I had one last night with Chace Crawford and his clean cut look.

I just hope that Zach is enjoying his time off because we can’t wait until he’s back.

Robert Pattinson was spotted taking a smoke break from filming the movie Remember Me to spend some time  in the Alice in Wonderland section of Central Park. I don’t remember that part being there when I was in Central Park as a kid! Rob looks adorable as he interacts with the young girls. He’s been smiling two days in a row now. I hope that he’s feeling better these days.

Also in other news, Eclipse shooting dates have been announced. It starts on August 17 right up to October 31, I need to get to Vancouver this time. It’s only a couple of hours away from me on the other side of the mountain, I shouldn’t have an excuse.

The NKOTB Michael Jackson Tribute

Posted by taylor blue on June 30, 2009 | No Comments

I thought that this Michael Jackson tribute that NKOTB did at their Detroit show on June 25. They started with showing pictures of Michael performing with Man In The Mirror playing in the background. It was very moving to hear the audience singing along with the song.

After Donnie Wahlberg and Joey McIntyre saying a few words they sang the song that I loved hearing Joey sing at their live concerts way back when, I’ll Be There. What fitting words that every one seems to need to hear right now.

Heath Ledger Covers Vanity Fair

Heath Ledger Vanity Fair Cover August 2009

I think its so ironic that with all the happenings with Michael Jackson that it reminded me of Heath Ledger and his sudden death. And then not a couple of days later this issue was buzzing around the internet. Although this issue was planned before Michael’s passing it’s just too freaky for me. This August 2009 issue of Vanity Fair hits news stands tomorrow and is packed with stuff I really don’t want to read. I did find some nice things that I would share…

On Heath’s devotion to acting according to director Terry Gilliam: “He would arrive in the morning completely knackered. By the end of the day he was beaming, glowing with energy. It was like everything was put into the work, because that was the joy; that’s what he loved to do. The words were just pouring out. It was like he was channeling.”

On why Heath didn’t want to take the role of the Joker according to agent Steven Alexander: Heath “was always hesitant to be in a summer blockbuster, with the dolls and action figures and everything else that comes with one of those movies. He was afraid it would define him and limit his choices.”

On his motivation to perform well according to Alexander: “He wasn’t motivated by money or stardom, but by the respect of his peers, and for people to walk out of a movie theater after they’d seen something that he’d worked on and say, ‘Wow, he really disappeared into that character.’ He was striving to become an ‘illusionist,’ as he called it, able to create characters that weren’t there.”

And now for the beautiful pictures that were taken back in 2000 when Heath appeared in Vanity Fair, some of them have been published, some not. They are all amazing.
