Homecoming is hitting theatres on July 17th and stars Mischa Barton, Jessica Stroup and Matt Long.
The synopsis is the following: Mike (Matt Long) is a small-town star athlete who is the first in his family to attend college, receiving a football scholarship to prestigious Northwestern University. When he returns home over Christmas break to the people he left behind – his family and friends – they are all surprised to see him with a new girlfriend, Elizabeth (Jessica Stroup), a pretty rich girl from Chicago. No one is more shocked than Mike’s homecoming queen ex-girlfriend, Shelby (Mischa Barton), who immediately wants to be rid of Elizabeth and plots to take care of the problem. Our story takes many twists and turns as Shelby does everything it takes to get Mike back.
I got a chance to screen the movie today. I have to say that I was pleasantly impressed with the movie. It didn’t take long for the action to happen and when it did it did. There is a huge twist in the story that reminds me of Misery but this one is done so much better. I was actually yelling at the TV and sitting at the edge of my seat. I promise you won’t be disappointed going to see this movie!
Here’s the trailer.

no thank you on seeing this movie i dont care that you say it is good or what not i see this as being a stupid teen tape of horror and i dont really care for MB so i dont care.
That last scene maybe just changed my mind about little Mischa. “I want you to start appreciating my hospitality.”
I have to be honest, I’m not a fan of Mischa but really she is good in this movie. She plays a psycho. Think Misery but to the nth degree.
I sort of want to see this movie, but mostly because of Jessica Stroup…I don’t really care for Mischa, but I guess I can give it a shot…I guess…
