It’s nice to finally see a magazine do justice to Blake Lively. I am loving this cover she did for the August 2009 issue of Glamour UK. It actually looks like her this time, and they didn’t photoshop the heck out of her. She’s so pretty just the way that she is.
I thought this quote from her was interesting considering Penn Badgley and her are now dating.
“At first I was so upset that they hired Penn for Gossip Girl..I actually poisoned the cast against him.”
I hope this is just a misquote. Sometimes magazines do that. I hope they did in this case. I don’t think Blake would do such a thing.
Gamer starring Gerard Butler is coming out on September 4th, and to gear up for the release in theaters Lionsgate has come up with an augmented reality poster. Now you can use your webcam to create your own 3D poster in your own house.
You can go to the website, WhosPlayingYou and it will help you do that. You need to print off this icon like the one below and then point your webcam on it. It then brings up a 3D image that you can interact with.

Three Rivers premieres on October 4th. I am starting a countdown now. I’m getting excited to see Alex O’Loughlin back on the screen. And lately I have a thing for TV doctors. I found a couple of commercials for the show.
Alex O’Loughlin stars as Dr. Andy Yablonski, a highly-skilled workaholic lead organ transplant surgeon whose affable personality and sarcastic wit makes him popular with his patients and colleagues, and Katherine Moennig portrays Miranda Foster, a surgical fellow with a rebellious streak and fiery temper who strives to live up to her deceased father’s excellent surgical reputation.
Us Magazine revealed today that they have exclusive pictures in this week’s magazine. We all want to see the pictures where he is wet right? Here they all are for you, the full scans from that issue. (They say they are exclusive pictures from his Rolling Stone photo shoot last November.)
What I thought was the most interesting was a quote from Rob himself…
“The pretty boy thing isn’t easy for me. I literally have to be filmed from the right angle or I look deformed.”
I have always noticed that pictures taken from different angles make him look different. But I think that is one of the qualities I like about him. He never looks the same way twice.
I admit it. I’m missing my shows already. I have just a couple of months before shows start returning but I thought I would make this list to try and supress some of the urges. I guess I could also watch the DVD sets I have too. But this is much more fun.
1. Sawyer and Juliet on Lost. My favorite part of Lost this year was the Sawyer and Juliet couple twist. And at the end of the season when the two of them were separated it killed me. I hope when the show comes back for it’s final season that they get back together.
2. Sarah and Chuck on Chuck. One of the things that really made me want to watch Chuck was this ‘fake relationship’ that Sarah and Chuck had. Chuck loves Sarah so much and you want them to be together. By the end of every episode I tried to cheer Chuck on. But we all know that will never happen.
3. Blair and Chuck on Gossip Girl. I was happy to finally see that Blair and Chuck got together at the end of this season. Everyone cheered for the two of them to be together. But will Chuck be able to stay tamed? I guess we will find out next season.
4. Elle and Sylar on Heroes. I think my favorite couple ever was Elle and Sylar. I was so sad when Sylar killed Elle because I really wanted the two of them to become a team and fight everyone together. That part where Elle was teaching Sylar how to use the electricity was hot. Too bad we won’t see a repeat performance.
5. Thirteen and Foreman on House. I loved this development on House. That Thirteen and Foreman got together. When the two of them kissed I squeeed. I just hope that they will stay together as Thirteen is getting sicker.
Yesterday, pictures of Kellan Lutz were released in his new movie, The Warrior, who he is filming with Ashley Greene. Today, they have out a set of clips from the movie. I love the first one where Kellan kicks over a building with one kick. It has nothing to do with him being shirtless either.
