“A beautiful soul, that Spencer Bell” ~Jackson Rathbone

I can remember always wanting to be a writer. Craving, yearning for knowledge as if it were sustenance, though I knew it always went so much deeper than that. I was constantly searching, hoping, wandering, looking for something that I forever felt as if I was on the brink of. Feeling lost, alone no matter who I was with, or where I was.
Never did I ask if anyone felt the same way, I felt foolish, what would i say? How could I convey that my soul was lacking something that nothing, nobody may ever be able to fill? Would anyone even grasp that? Or would they send someone to medicate me and carry me off in a little white coat, that allowed me to give myself special hugs?
Never would I have dreamed, that I would find such a beautiful soul, courtesy of an admitted “admiration and appreciation” of Jackson Rathbone.
You guys know by now, that even though, this site has gossip in the name, that I don’t abide by that. I prefer to do ARTICLES that are on treating celebrities as human beings, on charity, and the like, so it also means that I do not read gossip, as a rule. That normally includes interviews, believe it or not, unless I conduct them myself, or they are in a reputable magazine or on a respectful, and truthful site.
All of that yammering being said, I had read an interview with Jackson, several weeks ago, and he was mentioning Spencer Bell with such stated reverence, compassion, and love (actually it’s where the headline from this article came from) that I HAD to go and read all about Spencer. Since then, I have wiled away hours pouring myself over the page, his lyrics, his journal entries, photos, and music. I have spent countless hours crying for a loss so great that I cannot wrap my mind around it.
I consider myself blessed beyond any words in my vocabulary, to have the privelige, and honor to familiarize myself with such a prodigious artisan.
Spencer Bell was diagnosed with Adrenal cancer, and it took his body from this world much too soon. In December of 2006, when he was merely 20 years old, he tragically lost his fight with the disease.
Perhaps his soul was not destined for a world so corrupt, so treacherous and poisoned, that he simply returned to the light, from which he was born. To be the beacon for all inspiration, and creativity.
If you go to the SPENCER BELL MEMORIAL PAGE you can hear his spine-tingling music, read his lyrics that will make your heart feel as if it’s beating for the first time, and your soul, as if it’s flying.
You can join the site, donate to the UMCCC Spencer Bell Memorial Endowed Fund † to help fund Adrenal Cancer Research. There is a concert being held in his honor, to also raise money for the cause:

And you can go HERE for tickets.
I’m hoping *crossing my fingers* to get an event scheduled in Charlotte, North Carolina, and I’d be more than honored to head it, or pitch in, in any way possible. I want more than anything to get the word out about this disease. It has taken away many lives, including one young man that has reminded me just how much difference ONE person CAN make in this world. I wish I had been lucky enough to know him, but I can say, I am honored to know the legacy that he leaves behind. I couldn’t agree with Jackson more
“What a beautiful soul, that Spencer Bell.”

Milla Jovovich Vs The Future

Milla Jovivich VS Magazine Cover

I have to admit, I was never a huge fan of Milla Jovovich while I was growing up. And thinking back I have no clue. But now, I write about her alot on KnockedUpCelebs.com and I really like her now that she’s a mom. Maybe I didn’t think we had anything in common, and I’m pretty sure she was in a movie with some guy that I had a crush on back then too.

I found this photo shoot in VS magazine that she did. I don’t have a date, but since Milla is so photogenic they had to be posted. The camera really loves her.

Katherine Heigl Covers InStyle Magazine

Katherine Heigl InStyle Magazine Cover August 2009

Katherine Heigl is on the August 2009 issue of InStyle magazine. Katherine isn’t one of my favorite people but I do think that she did do an awesome photo shoot. Here are the highlights of the interview she did:

On meeting her husband, singer-songwriter Josh Kelley: “I was fed up with trying to be somebody else and got really lucky and met a great guy who loved me for me. It’s hard—I think women have to struggle to define themselves, to find what they want. I keep telling my friends, seriously, write down what you want and make it specific. Like, I’m talking, do you want a beach house in Venice? Be specific and be creative and define not only what you want in your career but what you want in your personal life.”

On family tragedies—her brother’s death in 1986 and her mother’s battle with breast cancer: “Here’s the deal: This is what my family and I have been through, and although we’re not perfect, we are survivors. [My siblings and I] were taught to overcome—although that’s not the right word because you don’t really overcome that kind of stuff, but you do learn to live with it and you learn to live despite it… No one in my family ever said, ‘Life’s not worth living because this happened or that happened to me.’ It’s always worth living. And living well.”

On being criticized last summer for saying the Grey’s Anatomy material she’d been given to work with wasn’t Emmy-worthy: “Now I’ve got this moniker that I’m the foot-in-the-mouth gal, and I keep thinking, In what way? Because I said something you don’t agree with? Because I said something you don’t like? I’m just telling you my opinion. I hate the idea that I can’t be honest about how I feel about things because it’s going to piss somebody off who feels differently. That seems preposterous to me.”

Josh Duhamel Is Such A Romantic

Back in April, Josh Duhamel was spotted taking a walk and wearing a really neat necklace. Now, I am a jewelry freak so anytime I hear a romantic story like this one I have to share it.

Josh revealed the meaning of the necklace to InStyle magazine:

“It’s this gold charm with an ‘f’ and a ‘j’ intertwined. I made it. I once took a class in college, got all the carving tools, did wax casting. Now I make gifts. It’s fun, like whittling.”

The F is for his wife, Fergie of course. I think that a man that can make me jewelry is for sure a keeper.

J.T Or R.Pattz For the Win?

Everybody knows that right now, ACTOR WISE Robert Pattinson is the man. The carrot microwaving, doesn’t like to watch his own move premiere, eating hamburgers next to a dumpster, being attacked by obsessed crazy stalker fan girls, man. Summit’s golden boy. So, yeah, he has a few qualities that I find attractive, though we all know my favorite is JACKSON RATHBONE *ahem*
Anyway, so people are giving the hot, and talented Justin Timberlake a hard time. He sings, dances impeccably, is talented, witty, funny as HELL as I just recently learned via my JoJo, and to top it all off HE BROUGHT SEXY BACK! Without him, would Rob maintain the right to be sexy? That’s what you should be asking yourself. We all owe Justin tons of gratitude, because if he hadn’t brought sexy back, where would we be? In a world full of talented, possibly attractive people, though they may as well be androgynous.
A Twilight fan actually had the audacity to ask Justin, “Why aren’t you sexy like Robert Pattinson?”
Justin’s reply? “Because God loved him more than me.”
Awww, now JT I don’t believe that for one second, because “In all of creation, all things great and small, you are the one that surpasses them all”
We should all try to realize, that justin showed great sacrifice, courage, selflessness giving us sexy back, it is up to each individual to decide how to utilize it. Every time you do, you remember who to thank, and you know within your soul Justin “God must have spent, a little more time on YOU.” Never feel inferior to Rob and his glorious hair, your attributes are every bit as impressive..and sexy.

Four New Promo Pics For Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland

Posted by taylor blue on July 15, 2009 | 2 Comments

Mia Wasikowska as Alice

I had seen these pictures leaked before but finally I had a chance to get good copies of the pictures.  It’s interesting to note that the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) doesn’t appear in the book Alice In Wonderland but makes her appearance in the sequel, Through The Looking Glass, as a chess piece. It makes you wonder what Tim Burton’s Wonderland will be about then. It should be interesting to find out on March 5, 2010 in both 2D and 3D.
