The First Stills Of Alex O’Loughlin From The Back-Up Plan

The first stills of Alex O’Loughlin from The Back-Up Plan have been released by CBS Films. I am so surprised to learn that CBS produced this movie. But it must have been under Alex’s one year holding contract with them. (Sorry, I am still a bit bitter with the Moonlight thing.)

Alex also was talking about earlier this week a the TCA  Press Tour how while researching his role for Three Rivers that he found that he was so boring that he said he should have become a doctor himself.

“You know, I don’t have any training in medicine, and there’s so much to learn, even just to get off the ground and be convincing when you say the words. And, you know, the whole time we’re in Pittsburgh, and before that as well, I was into medical journals and I was on the phone, and I was researching all night. I’ve chosen the wrong profession. I’m so boring. I should have been a doctor. I found out that my father wanted to be a cardiothoracic surgeon. That was a dream of his later; it was something that he was obsessed with as well.”

I think that I speak from all the fans when I say that we don’t find Alex boring at all. Even though we would love seeing him in scrubs all the time.

Ryan Gosling & His New Tattoo & Hog

Ryan Gosling debuted his new tattoo and his hog today in Los Angeles. He was seen chatting with friends outside the Silverlake Conservatory of Music and then he rode off in his motorcycle. There’s something about Ryan on his motorcycle that I find very hot.

I was examining his new tattoo. I know I have never seen it before. It’s of a boy catching an apple from a tree inside of a frame. There was also another tattoo further down that same arm but I couldn’t figure what it was. But I am sure the hand drawn look of it has a big meaning for him. But wait, I just found this quote from him, I think I better strike that whole meaningful thing out the window. During an interview his wrist tattoo showed and this is what he commented about it.

At one point, glancing at his hand, I see what I think must be a fading ink stamp, and ask if he was at a club the night before. “Oh no,” he laughs, “that’s a homemade tattoo”. He has many, apparently, all of them “ridiculous”. “A tattoo should never be meaningful,” he explains, “because at a certain point you’re going to hate it, and it might as well make you laugh.”

What a man! He couldn’t have said it better.

Taylor Lautner & Nikki Reed Spotted In Vancouver

Taylor Lautner and Nikki Reed were seen in Vancouver taking a stroll. They look like they fit in on the streets there. Taylor and Nikki also stopped to pose for pictures. I love how they love their fans.

It looks like the pre-fight training has started. Peter Facinelli tweeted earlier today…

Just finished two hours of fight training for Eclipse. Now if anyone messes with me I can pretend to kick their a** really well.

I’m glad they are working them out.

Stephen Moyer Is A Beach Bum

Stephen Moyer was spotted frolicking in the water with his new fiancee, Anna Paquin, today in Santa Monica. Stephen and Anna play opposite each other in the hit show, True Blood. And Stephen said the awesome part of being with Anna is that the nude sex scenes aren’t awkward at all.

“Obviously, if you’re already with that person then you’re not having to sort of get over the ‘Wow, I’m naked with someone that I don’t even know the middle name of!’”

I think that would be an awesome job,”What are you doing today honey?”, “Oh, making out with you.” THAT I think I could handle.

Fringe Season 2 Promo Pictures

One of the season premieres I am dying to see is Fringe. At the end of season one it showed Olivia in this sort of alternate universe, and when it pulled back, I thought it was the World Trade Center. Now, maybe someone can tell me for sure if that’s what I saw.

Also as a bit of trivia two of the cast members in Fringe, Kirk Acevedo and Lance Reddick, were both on the TV show Oz together. I watch Oz every night before I go to bed, and constantly see stars now that were on that show back then.

Leighton Meester Covers Harper’s Bazaar

I love the beginning of the month because all of the new magazines come out. As you can see today I have been going a bit crazy. Leighton Meester is on the cover of the September 2009 issue of Harper’s Bazaar.  In the interview she talks about not having a sex tape, fame and her guilty pleasure. Here are the highlights:

On her alleged sex tape: “[The tape] is not real, so it makes me sort of sad. It’s unfortunate that it got carried as far as it did. I definitely understand the nature of people better now and that the mere allegation of something like that could be headline news. People think it’s real because somebody says it is. By the way, [as for] me being 18 in those pictures, I don’t believe I was.”

On fame: “I don’t want most of what comes along with all of this. I’m doing everything I can to keep things separate. I feel like my friends are in a cult because we’re like, ‘No outsiders!’ I’ve never been crazy. I’m a very good girl, to be honest. I don’t do anything to hurt anybody. Honestly, all I ever do is work.”

On her guilty pleasures: “You know, I’m trying to think of what I’m ashamed of. But, damn, I don’t really have any shame.”

Ed Westwick on Leighton: “She can handle these big, gigantic sandwiches, and she’s got the most tiny, little gorgeous figure. . . . The first thing I thought when I met Leighton was, ‘F*cking hell, this girl’s gorgeous.’ And she was incredibly sweet. Now we tell each other to f*ck off whenever we want to. . . . We’ve been fake shagging for a year and a half now.”
