The Lovely Bones Trailer

I have been waiting to see this trailer for The Lovely Bones for a while now. The lead role played by Mark Wahlberg, was orginally going to be played by Ryan Gosling, I would have loved to see Ryan in that role. Now we can see how Mark will do in this dark movie. I am surprised at how Peter Jackson decided to tackle the movie in itself, it looks a little like James And The Giant Peach and Pleasantville all wrapped in one.

The movie is based on the movie by Alice Sebold. I have to admit that I cried pretty much through the whole book and read it fast so I could see how it ended. It’s the story that centers on a young girl who has been murdered and watches over her family â€“ and her killer â€“ from heaven. She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal.

You can see the movie in theaters in December.
