Alex O’Loughlin Spotted Playing Rugby On The Three Rivers Set

Alex O’Loughlin was spotted in Pittsburgh filming some rugby scenes for his new show Three Rivers. I know rugby is very popular here where I live and I know after watching it I would love to play with Alex! Alex got a chance to film this scene with the Pittsburgh Rugby Club on Bigbee Field.
Alex had this to say about it all. “I want to spend more time on the South Side and up here. I’ve had all the obvious stuff like Primanti Brothers and all that stuff, which is disgusting and fun but you never want to do it more than once. I love the surrounding areas of the city. It’s a beautiful part of the world.â€

Actually Alex was playing rugby in Pittsburgh not in Philadelphia so I think something got lost in translation. I know because I was there – I came all the way from Philadelphia. Pittsburgh and Philadelphia are hundreds of miles apart, and Alex saw some of Philadelphia years ago when he was at a film festival promoting the move “Feed.” Alex is great in more ways than one. He is an excellent actor, very good looking, and is super nice to his fans of which I am one.
I fixed that.

absolutely love the updates for Alex. Enjoyed the interview you had, too. Got to know him a little better now. One of these days I’m going to my home town, pittsburgh and hope to see him! I sent him a b-day card last year (first time) and got a picture with a note referring to what I wrote in the letter. Very professional and considerate of him. I hope to get one of him in scrubs, more to love. Can’t wait until the movie and the show. Alex is back!!!

Alex is such a great guy…his fans have hung in there waiting for him to return to our TV where he belongs. Can’t wait to see him on the big screen in Jan 2010 with Jennifer Lopez in The Back Up Plan!
