I saw this picture yesterday of Kellan Lutz on his skateboard with his dog, Kola. I wish I would have figured it out that my dog could drag me on something like that. Walking her would have been much easier. (Remember if you try this at home you should wear a helmet.)
Growing up I was always obsessed with accents. They made my world go around. And they still do. What I thought was the cutest thing about Gerard Butler was his Scottish accent. It was not too bold and not too weak. Now a source is reporting that Gerard is slowing losing his accent and he doesn’t like it. (Whether I believe the story is to be seen but it sounds cute so I’m going with it.)
“I have to confess I always hated any person from Scotland who went and lost their accent in the slightest. When Sheena Easton made it in America and suddenly started talking in an accent, I swore and threw shoes at her on television. But I’ve spent a year and a half now playing roles as an American and I’m not comfortable enough doing those accents only when we film, so I have to keep it up all the time. I really hate myself for doing that.”
Don’t hate yourself Gerard. I just think you need to go back to Scotland for a bit to get it back.
I LOVE tattoos, I have six of them myself. I have always wondered what Chace Crawford might look like with tattoos. He put on some temporary ones for this photo shoot with Interview magazine. They get a big thumbs up from me since the pics are in black and white. I love pictures in b&w, it really shows the person inside. Here are the highlights from the interview:
On deciding to live with Ed Westwick: “I wanted to live in a really nice building, and he really didn’t care. I also didn’t want to be paying an arm and a leg for rent . . . Ed’s girlfriend was in town most of the time for the pilot we shot in ’07. So we hung out a little bit and talked about getting a place. We talked to Penn, too, but he had shot a show in New York before and was living, I think, with Milo Ventimiglia. Penn said, ‘No, but good luck. I’m over the roommate situation.’ So I called up Ed and was like, ‘Hey, man, I’m going to New York tomorrow. Do you want to room with me?’ He’s like [faking British accent], ‘Yeah, why not?’ So I looked around and sent him a few pics of the place I found and he said [faking British accent], ‘Is there any extra room for guest bedrooms?’ I was like, ‘What are you talking about? This is New York. What do you want, a game room? Let’s just make space for a ping-pong room as well.’ [laughs] Ed had no idea. But the apartment was in a nice building, and it had a great roof deck. We’d hang out up there all the time with our friends, and it was private.”
About fan overload while filming: “You’re having a serious conversation, looking someone in the eye, but everywhere around you, it’s literally a circus. Sometimes I sit back and laugh. . . It’s funny because everyone wants to know what’s happening on set. There isn’t anything shocking to write about, so magazines want to stir things up, like, ‘Blake and Leighton hate each other.’ But the truth is, when we’re all done with work, it’s like, ‘Hey, what are you doing? Let’s go do karaoke.’ The publicity factor is outrageous. They just want to shoot you down. So that can definitely wear on you a bit. A perception of you is created, and you really have no control over it. To some degree, you learn to adapt. But you also think, ‘Eff you, you don’t know me.’”
On his personal life: “I’m the biggest believer in not talking. I don’t Twitter or MySpace or Facebook. I want to keep to myself. I don’t want to be out there. You have to keep some kind of control over who you are.”
I love the show Chuck. I think everyone on the earth knows this by now. I also have been hanging around one of my favorite websites, Zachary-Levi.com. There I saw this video of Zachary Levi on Less Than Perfect, and he was singing. Proud Mary of all things too. My jaw dropped at his cuteness! We need to see more moments like this on Chuck.
It’s Alex O’Loughlin’s birthday today. And I have to celebrate it because things have changed so much from last year. The happiest news is that Alex will be back in prime time again. Having him back makes me happy. I know he won’t be Mick St. John but it will be him. I love the actor Alex. And I can watch Mick St. John any time I want since I have the DVD on repeat constantly. Three Rivers will be amazing. And seeing Alex ‘Dude’ in scrubs won’t be so bad either.
We love you Alex, every part of you. I’m glad you didn’t accept anything less than the best for you. xoxoxo
August 15th and 16th, I was honored to be a part of something bigger than myself. Something magical, beautiful, something awe inspiring and amazing. I posted about the event itself, the Spencer Bell Legacy Concert(s), and there isn’t a lot more I could say, that I haven’t already said, about the sheer incredibility of it all.
I already touched on the fact that Jackson Rathbone wasn’t able to make it, (Unfortunately sometimes life throws cork screws in our plans)in my original post, however, I was a bit remiss.
I was remiss because I’m not sure that I conveyed why I’m sorry that he couldn’t be there.
It wasn’t because “Jasper” couldn’t make it. (Yes, I got to hear that particular statement, and I wasn’t impressed.)
It wasn’t because I didn’t get a chance to meet Jackson. (I’ll have other opportunities, I’m sure. I didn’t Go FOR him in the first place, no offense,Jaxxx darlin’. It was all about Spence for me.)
It was because Jackson Rathbone, friend to Spencer Bell, didn’t get a chance to attend, and THAT broke my heart just a little, if I’m being honest.
But Jackson, just let me tell you, I danced, screamed, and sang loud enough for the both of us, and if you don’t believe me, ask Ben. (G not J) *laugh*
