Alex Meraz & Tyler Shields: Pure Perfection

I’m not sure if anyone knows this or not but Tyler Shields is one of my favorite photographers. I became his fan when I saw Zachary Quinto’s photo shoot, and I frequently stop by his website to see the pictures he’s posted. Tyler has this awesome way of thinking and it comes through in his pictures. I love his views.
He did this photo shoot for Alex Meraz, who plays a shape shifter in New Moon, and I am absolutely in love. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s so raw or not. It makes me totally win Alex over., And I wonder what was going through Alex’s mind to bring such emotion to the shoot. Check out the video of the shoot below.

We both know that I ADORE Tyler Shields and his photography. The photo is great, but I *really* like the video. Alex definitely has a badass side and I can’t wait to see what he can do with that in NM!

Great shot and a great video of Alex. Tyler Shields has a unique style that is very recognizable and appealing to the eye. Not bad for a photographer as young as he is. I can’t wait to see more of his work in the future.
