On September 11th, Kellan Lutz was in midtown Manhattan hitting up Fashion Week in New York. And these pictures were from one of the fashion shows he attended for Monarchy. I have to say that he’s looking really buff these days. Keep up the good work Kellan, we love you for it.
The Fringe season premiere is tomorrow night. I can’t wait for all my answers to be answered. But if you can’t wait you can watch the first episode of the season in fast forward. I only got through about 15 seconds before I didn’t want to know any more. So go ahead if you want to see it…just don’t tell me how it goes. I’ll wait until tomorrow night.
The All-American Rejects got busy in New York City this week starting off with a special performance of their hit single “Gives You Hell.” They took the stage with house band Wale at MTV’s VMAs show where front man Tyson Ritter debuted a new glittery look. After rocking the proverbial house, Ritter caught up with MTV news and confirmed the long standing rumor that he will in fact be teaming up with pop powerhouse Rihanna for a yet to be recorded track. With AAR’s stock rising by the day, it only made sense for the quartet to cap their week by ringing the opening bell for the New York Stock Exchange.
The All-American Rejects’ album When The World Comes Down featuring “Gives You Hell” and “I Wanna” is in stores now. For more information visit www.allamericanrejects.com.

Michelle Williams is the cover girl for the October 2009 issue of Vogue. She talks about Heath Ledger and her daughter, Matilda. Here are the highlights from the interview:
On boundaries: “I didn’t know what my boundaries were for a long time, which made interviews feel very unsafe. I can talk about grief, because that’s mine; about single parenting; about trying to balance work and kids. But what I don’t have to talk about is what happened between Heath and me in our relationship.”
Coping after Ledger’s untimely death: “I was holding it together by a string and a paper clip in the fall and winter. I didn’t know if I could keep it all together… You console yourself by saying it’s all a deepening process. But it’s wired. After the first year, the pain is less intense; it’s less immediate. But the magical thinking goes away too. And that’s a whole new reckoning. But every time I really miss him and wonder where he’s gone, I just look at [Mathilda.]”
The happy times: “‘Brokeback Mountain’ was an unrepeatable moment in time, a very charmed time in my life. I was in love; I was in a movie I was proud to be a part of, and with a beautiful brand-new baby. Everything was good in that moment.”
Dealing with the paparazzi presence: “It’s because of this tragedy that there’s more paparazzi. That is hard to be graceful and understanding about… It’s hard to be the man and the woman in that [paparazzi] situation. Heath always used to do that for us.”
Falling in love: “I thought falling in love again was the only thing that was going to save me from the pain. This erroneous idea: It just makes things more complicated.”
What the future holds: “I feel hopeful and grateful. For a while I thought we had lost everything. It makes you want to love better and liver better.”
I love horror movies. The scarier the better. I saw this trailer for Paranormal Activity this morning and I had to post it. I love ghost stories and anything to do with them. I watch those Ghost Hunter shows on TV. It gives me the shivers sometimes.
Seeing the audience freaking out like they are is reassuring but I wonder if it will be really scary. They did show one of the most pivotal moments in that trailer though, where the guy gets thrown at the camera. That might be the downfall.
Case in point, I watched Quarantine the other day. It took me twice to get through the movie, but I digress. There is a scene in the trailer where you see the girl being dragged away from the movie. I thought that part of the trailer is why I wanted to see the movie. But after watching the movie, SPOILERS AHEAD, I found that was the ending of the movie. Why would they show the ending in their trailer?
Paranormal Activity looks like it has the same formula of these other movies where they have the jerky camera that looks like it’s a home movie. I think those movies are quite annoying. I have never been able to get through the Blair Witch Project because of it and Cloverfield was like that too. It make me ill. So what do you think? Will you be going to see this movie?
