I have been waiting to see the outtakes from Robert Pattinson’s photo shoot with Vanity Fair and now just hot off the presses Vanity Fair released them. (They were taken by Bruce Weber.) I heard rumors earlier today that the December 2009 issue will hit news stands on Wednesday. I wonder if that means it won’t be in Canada until the week after that. And the website says this is the first of four sets of outtakes. I can’t wait to see them all!
Here are some of the highlights of the interview included in the magazine.
On feeling like he’s not cut out for the fans: “I guess I’m not the type of guy cut out to do a franchise. I’m not much of a crowd person.â€
On Kristen Stewart: “She’s influenced how I’ve done all the Twilight stuff. It’s quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything.â€
On the love affair Kristen and Rob are having: “It doesn’t make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I’ve literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like ‘Oh, they were on secret dates!’ It’s like ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!’

Two of my favorite people, Zachary Quinto and Tyler Shields, partied it up last night for Halloween. I swear that it’s a better party for adults then children these days. I have never went to a Halloween party because of my phobia as I am sure it would have went crazy when I saw Zachary.

Next week we will be able to get the issue of Robert Pattinson on the cover of Vanity Fair. And now thanks to Spunk-Ransom we can see the pictures before it comes out. I think the picture about is the hottest of them all. But I love it when a guy has a cigarette hanging out of his mouth like that.
Enjoy these pictures…I sure know I have been.

Can you believe we are already at episode 8 of the season? I think that’s crazy talk! I was caught up with Gossip Girl but now I’m lagging again. I just need to have time to watch all my shows.
Episode 8 is called, They Shoot Humphrey’s, Don’t They?, and it goes like this: Not satisfied with just being Queen of Constance Billard, Jenny (Taylor Momsen) sets her sights on becoming the Queen of all the Upper East Side by landing the hottest escort for Cotillion. Nate (Chace Crawford) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) plot to help Serena (Blake Lively) and Blair (Leighton Meester) repair their damaged friendship. Dan (Penn Badgley) is upset when Olivia (guest star Hilary Duff) contemplates leaving school for a movie project.

Kellan Lutz ripped up Tao last night in Las Vegas where he hosted a Halloween party with co-star, Ashley Greene. Kellan decided to be a ripped in his costume, is it Robin? Or maybe it should just be called sexy. I have huge issues with masks around this time of year but I might be convinced to try and not run away if I saw Kellan in his mask.
Recently Kellan did an interview with Vanity Fair talking about New Moon, how busy he’s been and what he likes to read. Here are the highlights:
On what he does on his downtime: I love to read. I have a Kindle, and it’s nice to be able to download books that people refer. Rob[ert Pattinson] reads all of the time and he refers so many great books, Jackson [Rathbone], as well, and Kristen [Stewart]. It’s nice to just download books because we have so much downtime. I have close to eight hours a day to read. I finish so many books it’s amazing. I’m also doing Rosetta Stone, learning some French.
On what he’s reading right now: Right now, Letters from the Earth by Mark Twain. Also Jessica Bendinger, I did a movie with her called Stick It—she’s the director—and she wrote her first novel, The Seven Rays. I have an advanced copy and it’s amazing.
On what books cast members have recommended: [Addressing Jackson Rathbone, who is also in the room:] Jackson, what’s that book that you recommended? Out of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis, which I’m going to read next. Jackson’s reading my Kindle right now; I’m passing along Letters from the Earth.
On one thing that has changed in his life since Twilight has come out: I’ve never been so busy in my life. I’ve never gotten my frequent flyer miles so high that I feel like I can travel around the world for free. I’ve been on a plane every weekend trying to come back to L.A. to see my dog. I feel like I’ve been so blessed to be working, but everything I shoot is out of L.A., so I don’t really have too much time to spend with my number one love: my puppy. (She’s not really a puppy—she’s five—but she’s close to my heart.) We have so much press stuff that we get to do—I love doing the conventions and meeting the fans. November’s going to be pretty crazy, what with being on a plane every day, landing, appearances, flying to another city that night … It’s a roller coaster.
On how he copes with it: We all have our passions that we enjoy. Rob and Jackson will bring their guitars everywhere. As long as you have that passion where you can just disappear and be normal, feel normal, bring your iPod or favorite books, and just do the things that you would do when Twilight wasn’t around—that’s all keeping us who we are. We’re all really blessed, and we’re humble and down to earth, anyway.
On the cast leaning on each other more now: Yeah, definitely. It’s one of those things where we kind of are this family, especially going through all this. We’re all going on this insane adventure and fantasy as an actor with Twilight, and it’s nice to do it with someone. We’re all friends, which is nice, so we can all go out to dinner, have a great time, relax, play games, go out to concerts. Kings of Leon have been up here, Jason Mraz … It’s nice to disappear and do stuff together. All of our friends are back home, and we try to have our friends come up here and hang out. But realistically it’s kind of tough to do that, so it’s nice to have the cast members to count on. That’s the great thing about this franchise—we hopefully get to look forward to making all of the books, so you never have to really say goodbye [to each other] like you do with other projects. You get to say, “See you soon,†or, “See you in L.A.†We get to pick up where we left off.
