Rising star Nikki Yanofksy recently spent an afternoon with the fashion journal Women’s Wear Daily, who talked with the 15-year-old singer about what shapes her music, her personal style, and her outlook on life. While her voice may be mature beyond her years, Nikki, a self-confessed “shop-a-holic,” is very much a typical teenager with a refreshing down-to-earth attitude. Read the interview to learn more about everything from her incredible accolades to her celebrity crush, and check out the behind-the-scenes video of Nikki at one of her first “big” fashion shoots.
Nikki’s US debut album, New to Me, is set for a Spring 2010 release. She recently released a holiday track, “One Wish This Christmas,” that is available now on iTunes.
