Get to know more about Tamar Kaprelian in a new video straight from her writing session in Denver with OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and Brent Kutzle. The 22-year-old rising star discusses her musical influences and charity work along with her thoughts on songwriting, collaborations and the meaning behind her single “New Day.”
Stay tuned for Tamar’s Interscope Records debut later this year which she calls a coming-of-age record that chronicles her life, relationships, and determination to create an album that is real and true to herself, both personally and artistically. “New Day” is available on iTunes now.
I must admit that when they sent me over the video for ‘New Day’ I hadn’t heard it before. And since then I have to listen to it all the time. I have it on my iPod and my daughter is always singing it around the house.
