I met Mary Sarah back in January through a friend on Twitter. I quickly interviewed her and have found we have become fast friends. The other day I noticed she was tweeting about a concert she was doing for Haiti and I looked into it and had to share the project with you.
First, they are selling CD’s for the Houston Hearts Haiti project and we all know we need one of them. You have to hear Mary Sarah sing. She has been singing for a long time and even went on a 40 stop tour with Kidz Bop. There are other artists on the CD that are equally as amazing such as Jennifer Grassman, Paul English and Otenki, just to name a few. There are more details on who is on the CD here. All proceeds will go towards Red Cross, YELE and/or Hope For Haiti.
Second, she is doing a Kids 4 Haiti concert on Sunday, March 14th, at the Lakewood Auditorium in Sugarland, Texas at 3 p.m. You can find more about that event here.
Third, if you go sign up to Mary Sarah’s fan on ReverbNation you can get three free downloads of her songs. I know that would give you a great start to listening to her and then you will want to get the rest of her music.
Here is a preview of one of my favorite songs she sings the cover of When You Say Nothing At All.
