It has been a long journey for the North Carolina-based septet Paper Tongues, but now, with their Self-titled debut album set for release on March 30th, the band is ready for the spotlight. In the first of a series of new EPK videos on YouTube, fans are introduced to the seven band members and get to know singer Aswan North, who shares his unique background and childhood struggles. North also explains the origins of the name “Paper Tongues” and its tie-in to the new record. Check out the video below, and stay tuned to the band’s official MySpace page for updates and more videos in the series.
The first single from Paper Tongue’s debut, “Ride to California,” is available now on iTunes. Also, make sure to pre-order the Self-titled album and receive an instant grat pack for free including a couple album tracks, “Ride To California” video, and exclusive bonus tracks!
