Chace Crawford Is Out Of ‘Footloose’

It seems that Footloose just keeps having tragedy after tragedy. First, Zac Efron left. And then Kenny Ortega, and then a rewrite was tossed out. Now, Chace Crawford has backed out. They say it’s because of a scheduling conflict with Gossip Girl. He is off hiatus with the show in July and Footloose would be filming in the summer and he can’t do both at once. I was REALLY looking forward to Chace in this movie.

So who is in talks for his replacement? An unknown. They might be doing a nationwide search for him. That is okay. Because now that both Zac and Chace are out…I’m out too.
