The Original Television Soundtrack: The Vampire Diaries featuring the hit single “Obsession” by Sky Ferreira is available everywhere today. Obsession is the lead track off the the soundtrack which features a mix of exclusive tracks unavailable elsewhere—including songs by Smashing Pumpkins and Gorillaz—plus favorites from season one of the hit TV show, including “Sleep Alone” by Bat for Lashes and “Running Up That Hill” by Placebo.

TEN Gossip is also giving away a copy of the soundtrack. Here are the rules: The contest is open to residents of the US ONLY (except where prohibited by law) and you must be over the age of 18. To enter leave the name of your favorite character on the Vampire Diaries. (If you say Damon you get an extra entry.) Love the whole cast to death but Damon was the real reason I continued to watch after the first episode. He swooped in about 20 minutes after the show started and I was totally sold; loved the entitlement and arrogance of his character. I thought Twilight was the sappiest excuse for a vampire movie I've ever seen and did not bother to see New Moon or Eclipse because by then, I knew Damon was incomparable. Best vamp since Anne Rice & Tom Cruise's Lestat. Damon is like Lestat times 10.
Loved the music (song) for the first Isobel & John scene and for the Isobel & Damon
scene where he lets her know not to mess with Eena.

Damon Salvatore! Ian Somerhalder was born to play a vampire, I couldn't imagine Damon being played by anyone else. Damon is the most intriguing character on the show because he has so many different sides to him. Never a boring moment with him.

Katherine. Because they killed off Vicki and she was my fav. Katherine is similar to Damon. She is just so selfish and used to getting what she wants. But deep down inside you can see that she truley loves Stefan.

Damon of course! The show wouldn't be the same without Ian Somerhalder as Damon. They are both sexy!!
Damon has always been my favoritee! Im absoutly in love with him! He is my favorite characterr!!
And i love mason lockwood just because he is hott! but he is on my hate listt! Trying to kill Damon and Stefan!! HA HA!!
