On working as much as he can right now: ‘Basically, if they’re going to pay me the stupid money right now, I’m going to take it. I have to. I mean, it’s not for me. Do you know what I mean? At this point, it’s for my kids. It’s ridiculous, yeah, yeah. But ultimately is it for me? No. No. It’s for the kids.’
On making money during his early days in Hollywood by attending Scientology study groups for $3: ‘I went to a bunch, man. It was so great, it was so fantastic.’
On the lack of support for 2004′s The Libertine from Harvey Weinstein: ‘Harvey killed a great film.’
On photo shoots: ‘You just feel like you’re being raped somehow. Raped. The whole thing. It feels like a kind of weird… just weird, man. Whenever you have a photo shoot or something like that, it’s like… you just feel dumb. It’s just so stupid.’
I think that the whole photo shoot part of the business has to be weird. I know it’s something I would never get used to.
