Carnage starring Kate Winslet and Jodi Foster is a comedy that follows four parents in one afternoon as a civilized attempt to reconcile a fight between their children escalates into verbal warfare, with all four revealing their true colors.

The synopsis goes like this: After two boys duke it out on a playground, the parents of the “victim” invite the parents of the “bully” over to work out their issues. A polite discussion of childrearing soon escalates into verbal warfare, with all four parents revealing their true colors. None of them will escape the carnage.

Carnage releases in select theaters in New York and Los Angeles on December 16th, 2011.
