Zachary Levi was busy sharing his pictures from the Tonight Show on Facebook last night before his appearance. I have to say that I am loving his shorter hair and that blue on him looks perfect!

Zachary had quite the conversation about gaming and ends up saying some choice words. I know that I am not the gamer like I used to be. I was playing Guitar Hero for a while there but now I can’t sit for five minutes to concentrate on it. Maybe Zachary can teach me how to play??

Gerard Butler has been a working machine lately. His latest movie, Gamer, just opened in theaters last weekend and now his new movie, Law Abiding Citizen, is coming out on October 16th.

Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case. Over his objections, Nick is forced by his boss to offer one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice. Fast forward ten years. The man who got away with murder is found dead and Clyde Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Then he issues a warning to Nick: Either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will die.

Soon Shelton follows through on his threats, orchestrating from his jail cell a string of spectacularly diabolical assassinations that can be neither predicted nor prevented. Philadelphia is gripped with fear as Shelton’s high-profile targets are slain one after another and the authorities are powerless to halt his reign of terror. Only Nick can stop the killing, and to do so he must outwit this brilliant sociopath in a harrowing contest of wills in which even the smallest misstep means death. I can’t wait to see this one. But at this point I am loving everything Gerard is doing. I must be a bit biased.

Tomorrow is almost here! Gamer finally comes out in theaters on September 4th. I have been talking about this movie for months and now finally we get to see it. It stars Gerard Butler and Michael C. Hall.

GAMER is a high-concept action thriller set in a near future when gaming and entertainment have evolved into a terrifying new hybrid. Humans control other humans in mass-scale, multi-player online games: people play people…for keeps. Mind-control technology is widespread, and at the heart of the controversial games is its creator, reclusive billionaire Ken Castle (Michael C. Hall). His latest brainchild, the first-person shooter game “Slayers,” allows millions to act out their most savage fantasies online in front of a global audience, using real prisoners as avatars with whom they fight to the death. Kable (300’s Gerard Butler) is the superstar and cult hero of the ultraviolent “Slayers.” Kable is controlled by Simon, a young gamer with rock star status who continues to defy all odds by guiding Kable to victory each week. Taken from his family, imprisoned and forced to fight against his will, the modern day gladiator must survive long enough to escape the game to free his family, regain his identity and to save mankind from Castle’s ruthless technology.

Friday is coming soon! And finally we will be able to see the movie Gamer starring Gerard Butler, Michael C Hall and Milo Ventimiglia. It should be interesting to see how the whole super virtual reality concept plays out in theaters.,  Don’t forget to check out the website, I was there the other day and I played around for a while there.

The new one minute Gamer trailer has been released. Gamer comes out on September 4th and stars Gerard Butler and Michael C Hall. This trailer gives you more of a story than the other ones. You wonder just how involved this ‘game’ really gets and if the boy will be able to get him out alive.,  Will Kable have to play to live? Also check out the website for really neat extras.

Finally, we get the first look at Milo Ventimiglia in Gamer. I know I had seen his name on the press releases for the movie but hadn’t got a glance at him yet. I’m not sure what to think seeing him in such tight clothes. It’s a side we haven’t seen of him for a while.

Gamer has been one of those movies I can’t get enough of writing about. It comes out on September 4th, 2009 and stars Gerard Butler and Michael C Hall. This TV spot explains the best about what this movie is about.

Boy controls human, human is controlled by boy, if the boy doesn’t win, the human dies.

It still reminds me a bit of the Running Man, but with a 2000’s feel with the virtual reality. I can’t wait to see this one!

Yesterday, I posted a new clip from the movie, that showed more of what the feeling of the movie will be like. I know by the end of it everyone will wish that they had that game console available to them.

This Gamer clip with Gerard Butler was released around Comic-Con time. I know that I saw the unedited version with the swearing in it. But this is the family friendly version. It dives in deeper into how the video game works. The teenager can control him, and can talk to him, and he can talk back.

This Thursday at Comic Con San Diego, Lionsgate will be distributing tickets at the Lionsgate booth (located at Booth 3729) — the first 100 people to hit the booth will be able to grab a ticket to a talent signing with Costas Mandylor (Detective Hoffman) and Betsy,  Russell (Jill Kramer) at 2pm.
