I had seen these pictures leaked before but finally I had a chance to get good copies of the pictures. It’s interesting to note that the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) doesn’t appear in the book Alice In Wonderland but makes her appearance in the sequel, Through The Looking Glass, as a chess piece. It makes you wonder what Tim Burton’s Wonderland will be about then. It should be interesting to find out on March 5, 2010 in both 2D and 3D.
The first look at Tim Burton’s Wonderland has been released. I have to say that I have been looking at these pictures for almost a half an hour now because I am so happy and amazed. Alice In Wonderland was always one of my favorite stories growing up and now we get to see it Tim Burton style. This is the art that will be started to be hung in movie theaters. The movie won’t actually be out until March 5, 2010.
There is also Helena Bonham Carter’s character The Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as The White Queen. I am loving the effects so far. And if I haven’t said it before…Tim is a genius.
It is my favorite Canadian, Ryan Gosling’s birthday today! I can’t believe how far he’s come from being on the Mickey Mouse Club (where I first watched him) to now. He deserves it to be a holiday on his birthday.
Ryan is a lucky guy because he shares the day with my son too! (And Anne Hathaway.)
Finally, after seeing endless and endless pictures from the set of Bride Wars we finally get to see the trailer. I love Kate Hudson as an actress and it looks like she won’t disappoint me in this movie. Anne Hathaway also looks super funny too.
Yes, my favorite Gossip Girl cast members, Penn Badgley, Blake Lively and Chace Crawford, are in this You Vote PSA. Also starring in the PSA are Anne Hathaway and so many others I can’t name them. But, they are all trying to say one thing VOTE. Please people. I wish I could vote for you, and I would if I could….so since I can’t YOU DO IT!
Anne Hathaway is the cover girl for this week’s Entertainment Weekly. It’s kind of scary and refreshing all at the same time to see her dressed like this. I’m glad that’s she’s on her way back to being the glamourous girl she once was..before her nasty exboyfriend got his claws into her.
Here are some highlights from the interview…
On keeping her life low-key: â€You know those girls that, like, go out? ‘I’m just not confident enough to do that. I’m not the sort of girl that will throw on a short skirt and tease her hair up. I feel uncomfortable with attention. Truly, I am a wallflower by nature… Obviously… this summer was a little different.â€
On feeling artistically free on the set of The Devil Wears Prada with costar thespian heavyweights Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci: I was motivated more by stress than I was by creativity. I didn’t want to fail. But the whole Devil Wears Prada gang raised my understanding of what it is to be a great actor. They were just operating on another level than I ever had. I was inspired to throw caution to the wind because that’s what I saw them doing.â€
