I have to thank my Twitter friend @TalkinToU that finds most of my Alex O’Loughlin pictures. She always knows when I’m going to post something on him. So thank you.
I found this Three Rivers commercial this morning. I haven’t seen it yet, and I think there is more Alex in it than the other ones I’ve found.

I am obsessed with television. I’m really sorry. It kind of goes with the territory though when I love to focus on television shows. The networks have released most of the yes’ and no’s for the 2009-2010 season. (I’m still holding out for Chuck!)
I decided I would pick some of my favorites from each network and tell you if they have been renewed or not (Or could be renewed or canceled). And if you find a puddle of water at the bottom of the post don’t mind it. It’s just because I’ve cried over my canceled shows. (This year though I think the only one that I watch that is in jeopardy is Chuck.)

Sadly, sometimes it’s merely an accessory that makes/breaks an outfit. It’s true! Just ask Jennifer Love Hewitt. She attended the recent 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards (something I wouldn’t watch if you paid me to) with a major problem on her arm. Was it a purse? Bracelet? New Tattoo? No, no, and no. I absolutely (kinda-sorta-maybe) hate to say this, but the problem was her boyfriend, Jamie Kennedy.
Now, Kennedy and I go back a long time, waaay back before he became Hewitt’s costar on Ghost Whisperer. See, he was in Scream (the 90’s horror CLASSIC) and I adored that movie. He played Randy Meeks, the film geek – so you can start to see why I thought he was amazing (film geeks = awesome). Of course, I had a thing for Matthew Lillard in the movie. Which maybe isn’t the point… (But I will add that a ‘never supposed to be made’ Scream 4 movie is actually coming out!)
Oh, back to my point? I don’t care if Hewitt dates Kennedy, that’s her own deal. But you can’t tell me sh doesn’t have any pull over the style in the couples department. In fact…it looks like maybe she DID use her power. But she used it badly! The couple is so matchy-matchy, and in WHITE, augh. Alone, she looks fine – almost like a swan! But looking at the outfits together…I just want to run away and cry.
And apparently the tackiness doesn’t stop with the white suit – JLH has weird white flower decals on her nails! WHAT. Click to enlarge and see:

Get ready for your short albeit busy visit to Harper’s Island this spring. By summer, your trip will be over. And what will you have learned? Well, you’ll hopefully learn who the killer is! Harper’s Island is a TV event on CBS that will last for 13 episodes (spooky number!) between April and July.
I’ll be watching because it sounds like an interesting concept – and I love this type of stuff! It seems like they’re going to take a really interesting horror movie and stretch it out into more than a miniseries, but less than an actual TV series (which is smart). I wish they had done that with Scream!

The episodes will begin on Thursday, April 9th at 10:00, and end on July 2nd. With every episode comes another death. By the finale, only one person will have survived.Â
The series stars Katie Cassidy (Supernatural) as “Trish Wellington,†Elaine Cassidy (The Others) as “Abby Mills,†and Christopher Gorham (Ugly Betty) as “Henry Dunn.â€

The premise is that a group of people have traveled to the island for a wedding. “Abby Mills, whose mother was killed on the island by a homicidal maniac’s rampage seven years ago, journeys home for the first time since the horrific event for the wedding of her best friend, Henry Dunn. Henry, the boy next door, is marrying the woman of his dreams, Trish Wellington, a beautiful and wealthy heiress. But as the wedding week begins, people start dying. Every episode, someone is killed. Wedding guests and island locals, every person is a suspect. No one is safe. No one can be trusted.”
