The highlight of my week has been seeing Kellan Lutz on the Ellen Degeneres Show. Kellan talks about the movie premiere and how he almost didn’t get into the after party and his spa story about being naked and getting recognized by a male fan. He also tells the story about how he got his dog, Kola. And it’s priceless when Kellan says Kola came out of the cage and buried her head between his legs and he knew for sure he had to get the dog. (It was so adorable.)
And then Ellen challenges Kellan to take off his shirt for a $5000 check to the Humane Society. And you all want to know if he went through with that!
Special Thanks to Kellan Lutz Online for posting the video. I loved every second of it!
Zachary Quinto took his dog, Noah, who is a Irish Wolfhound/Airedale Terrier mix out for a sunny stroll yesterday. I wonder if Zachary is the superstitious type since yesterday was Friday the 13th. I know sometimes I would go crazy making sure I didn’t walk under ladders or have a black cat cross my path. But that was until I got a black cat.
Star Trek is going to be on DVD November 17th and I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy. I NEED to see Zachary as Spock. Zachary said that playing Spock meant he didn’t have to laugh a lot, but he got a chance to crack up off camera. I bet he is a huge practical joker too!
Zachary Quinto took his best buddy, Noah, for a walk today in Los Angeles today. Noah has to be one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen. And no just because he’s Zachary’s means nothing.
Zachary has been doing an amazing job on Heroes this season. This season has to be one of my favorites just for that fact. He always is amazing at all the characters he does.
Keeping up with the Twilight theme tonight. Okay, the other two posts I was just replacing them since they went missing. (If you ever find them please tell me where they are. They will be in trouble for leaving me.) Kellan Lutz is on the Winter 2010 issue of Doggie Aficionado posing with his dog Kola.
Here are some of the cute highlights from the magazine:
On adopting Kola: “I have always been a huge advocate for saving animals, so I found it fitting, when I was ready for something new in my life, to look around the local animal shelters. . . . She looked me in the eyes, bowed and slowly and softly licked my open hand. As I pet this beautiful dog I realized how soft her multi-colored coat was, and felt her desperation for a real home. Our connection was so strong that it was like fate bringing us together. I knew she was the one. That was three years ago.”
On what he has learned from her: “Kola has taught me to be a man. I hope I have given her some deserved happiness.”
Kellan just keeps stealing my heart more every time. He’s a good man for saving animals. I love it when people have a heart like that.
Hayden Panettiere was seen carrying around her new pup on Friday running errands. She was so nice to carry him so he didn’t have to walk on the dirty street. I am sure that I would do the same thing. And besides you can walk a lot faster this way too.
That puppy sure is cute. I wonder what it’s name is?
I saw this picture yesterday of Kellan Lutz on his skateboard with his dog, Kola. I wish I would have figured it out that my dog could drag me on something like that. Walking her would have been much easier. (Remember if you try this at home you should wear a helmet.)
