The New ‘Dear John’ Movie Trailer

Posted by taylor blue on October 15, 2009 | No Comments

The other day the movie poster for Dear John came out. And now they have released the trailer for it too. I watched it and wanted to cry, already. I’ve read the book already too. The Notebook did that to me too. I knew what happened but yet there I was like a blubbering fool.

This trailer explains the movie alot better than what the synopsis did. They fall in love and then he goes away to fight and then they write each other letters. I love it already. It doesn’t come out until next year though. (February 5th) Such a long time to have to wait.

Dear John Movie Poster Revealed

I am a sucker for romance movies with two of my favorites being, The Notebook and P.S. I Love You. So when I heard that Dear John was becoming a movie I was really excited. And Channing Tatum would be the lead, that was even better. Channing and Amanda Seyfried star in this movie hitting theatres February 5th (just in time for Valentine’s Day!).

The synopsis goes like this: It focuses on a soldier home on leave (Tatum), and the “idealistic college student” he falls for during her Spring vacation (Seyfried). Over the course of seven years, they must face his increasingly dangerous deployments, seeing each other face-to-face rarely, but keeping the affair alive through overseas love letters that “eventually triggers fateful consequences.”

Channing Tatum & Jimmy Fallon Play Paintball

Posted by taylor blue on August 5, 2009 | No Comments

Channing Tatum has been busy making the rounds for his new G.I. Joe movie. He stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night. Jimmy had Channing play a round of paint ball with him, shooting targets. It was so funny that Channing had obviously shot a paint gun before, but I have to give Jimmy props for trying to kick his butt. In the end, Channing won of course.

(That is definitely one of my favorite parts of the show is when Jimmy plays games with the celebrities. I know if I ever get a talk show that’s what I’m going to do.)

Channing Tatum Dapper In Suspenders

Channing Tatum looked dapper in his suspenders leaving the vest Waldorf Hotel in New York City on Sunday. He was there for a press junket for his new movie, G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra, which opens in theatres on Friday.

I have to admit that back in high school I used to wear suspenders because because it was supposed to look hot back in the 90’s on girls. I’m not really sure if it really did or not though.

Channing Tatum And His Original Cake Topper

We all know Channing Tatum got married, I heard all the girls hearts break that day because he was officially off the market. From what I have heard about the wedding itself it was really sweet. It was a fairy theme, and Channing must really love his wife, Jenna Dewan to let her go through with that theme. But with that being said, I think many guys just say, “Tell me when to be there, and you do the rest.”

Jenna tweeted about her cake topper yesterday. I think it’s adorable…sorta…okay it is…maybe not…I can’t really decide. I love how they are kissing, that’s hot, but the wings on the groom throw me off. I know it’s a fairy theme, but I don’ t know.  They look fab on the bride though, and really when it comes down to it, if the bride looks good, who cares about the rest.

Channing Tatum Spoofs Dirty Dancing

Posted by taylor blue on July 28, 2009 | No Comments

This spoof done by Channing Tatum and Charlyne Yi was released this morning. I can’t believe how good Channing does the impression of Johnny from the movie Dirty Dancing. His motions and the way he talks is dead on. I remember back when that movie was released in the 80’s, I think I watched it a million times. I remember wanting to learn how to dance like that.

The girl playing ‘Baby’ says this line: “I’m scared of being put in the corner, Johnny, and most of all I’m scared of walking out of here and never feeling my whole life the way I feel when I’m with you. Dance with me.” Doesn’t it make you want to just go rent the movie in VHS and watch it again?
