Gerard Butler Covers Men’s Fitness Australia

I followed one of the links to my stories today and I found this December 2009 cover of Gerard Butler for the Australia Men’s Fitness. I think he looks so different with the facial hair. I miss seeing his whole face!

P.S. Doesn’t he have amazing eyes? WOW!

Gerard Butler Does Signature Magazine

The belated birthday boy, Gerard Butler, is on the November 2009 cover of Signature magazine.  In the magazine they talk about his most recent role, Clyde, in Law Abiding Citizen. That movie is about a Dad bent on bringing justice to the people that killed his wife and child in a home robbery. I have heard great things about this role and even Gerard is saying he’s surprised at the reception it’s been getting.

“It was incredible. I was surprised by how the audience gets on Clyde’s side. I think that we all have this sense of injustice and frustration, whether on a personal level, a community level or a national level. Where we feel like our balls have been cut off and there’s nothing we can do. One reason why 300 was so successful is that you saw your heroes kick ass – but not always in the nicest way.”

And what is more surprising is that he switched roles. He was supposed to be playing the part of the prosecutor but changed and wanted to be the criminal. I think that was a wise decision on his part.

Happy Birthday Gerard Butler!

After all the excitement around my house with my son’s birthday I was excited to learn that Gerard Butler celebrated his birthday just a day after. And this year…Gerard turns 40! So I knew I had to do a post for him then!

Last week, I wrote about him and found out what his birthday plans were. It was cute I had to repeat it here…

‘’On my birthday itself I am going to have a party in London which is great because I don’t get to spend a lot of time there anymore. The next day I am going up to Glasgow where I am having a shared birthday party with my 11-year old niece, which I am a little bothered about because I deserve all the attention but she is getting some of it…No , it’s lovely, so I am going to have a family party with her, then when I make it back to New York I will do something there.”

He is so adorable wanting all the attention from his niece. Happy Birthday Gerard! I would pay more attention to you.

Gerard Butler Covers Men’s Health UK

Accidental Sexiness posted this cover of Gerard Butler on the December 2009 issue of Men’s Health UK and I could resist in posting it too. It looks like the same picture they used for the October 2008 issue but that’s okay. I love me some Gerard.

Here are the highlights from the interview:

On how being out of control helped his acting: “You have to understand that I was completely out of control. If I hadn’t been so lost and insane, I’d still be a lawyer. I said to myself, I’m aiming for the stars. I’ll worry about the details later.”

On how 300 helped him achieve success but he credits his hard work: “The universe conspires. Once you decide to do something, the universe starts to help you. There are a lot of people who are really talented, and I can see they’re not going to make it because they don’t work hard enough.”

On how he is lost during shooting movies: “I get a bit lost for about a week. I think, ‘No one is bringing me lunch anymore – I’ve got to go do that myself?’

I am sure I can find someone to help you Gerard. (Points to me.)

Gerard Butler Knows How To Work The Camera

These new pictures of Gerard Butler from a photo shoot taken by photographer Carlo Allegri at the Toronto Film Festival. I have never seen photo shoot pictures of Gerard’s and I have to say that I’m impressed.

I am still waiting to see, Law Abiding Citizen, and from what I’ve heard the movie is great. I know Gerard has more movies coming. He’s on top of his game right now!

Gerard Butler Does SNL

So I admit it. I missed the Saturday Night Live with Gerard Butler. I guess I can’t be a true fan then if I let that one go by. Anyways…I ended up watching it all on YouTube and I picked my favorite skit that he did. It’s just too bad he was all dressed up and we couldn’t see his pretty face. But you get to hear him sing. Again. That man…

He is currently starring in Law Abiding Citizen with Jamie Foxx that did amazing at the box office this weekend. I already knew that though. I love movies that the man goes psycho crazy at people.
