I think working on a TV show would definitely be one of my dream jobs. Going to work and acting seems like it would something I could never complain about. When I saw this list of highest paid celebrities I was really surprised. I know they work long days and for months and months on end, but with this pay check and being seen by everyone I think it would be worth it.
Kiefer Sutherland (24) – $550,000 an episode Hugh Laurie (House) – $400,000 an episode Mark Harmon (NCIS) – $325,000 an episode Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy) – $275,000 an episode Tim Roth (Lie to Me) – $250,000 an episode Simon Baker (The Mentalist) – $250,000 an episode Tom Welling (Smallville) – $175,000 an episode Jennifer Love Hewitt (Ghost Whisperer) – $150,000 an episode Blake Lively (Gossip Girl) – $50,000 an episode
I am sure there has to be people missing. I can’t imagine this covering the people on Lost, Supernatural or Heroes.
I am so excited to finally see what’s coming up next on Season 6 on House. It looks like part of the season will revolve around Dr. House being in the mental institution and using his doctorly skills there. I just hope we have him back in the hospital he works at before too long!
As promised, my top TEN post for the day. I have chosen to do Actors over 40, since people tend to forget just how sexy aging gracefully can be.
10.) Gerard Butler: He won you over in PS I Love You, I can definitely see why.
9.) Anderson Cooper: Sex appeal and intelligence. Rare, and yes please.
8.)Tom Hanks: Multi talented, and an understated sexy.
7.) Barack Obama: Tell me who acts more convincingly than the President, go ahead, I’ll wait. Mhmm, that’s what I thought. Anyway, sexy and in power. Nice.
6.) George Clooney: He has been on every sexy list since he was discovered I think. May as well keep him around, yeah?
5.) Hugh Jackman: I can’t explain the quiet sex appeal that IS Hugh Jackman. But it’s there.
4.) Hugh Laurie:Maybe it’s his sarcasm, maybe it’s his wit, maybe it’s his looks, or hell all three, all I know is ME-YOW.
3.) Mel Gibson: If I didn’t put Mel on this list,my own momma would get a hold of me. So, mom, this one is for you!
2.) Hugh Grant: His smile, his accent, he’s just very appealing to me.
and number one, for me, is the epitome of sexy over 40:
1.) Richard Gere: I’d be his Pretty Woman, you know, minus the whole prostitute thing. I,uh, wouldn’t want to have to do THAT.
I am in no way a fan of April Fool’s Day. It was made up by fools who wanted a day to be able to get away with their stupid antics. (Actually, I’m not really sure but this sounded good.) I do enjoy seeing other people caught off guard and laughing with them at their misfortune.
So case in point, Hugh Laurie was surprised at the elevator by some characters. It’s so nice to see House smile for once. And doesn’t Omar Epps look like he is having fun?
Hugh Laurie was spotted in Brentwood riding his Triumph around. Is it just me or does he look even sexier with that yellow helmet on? At least he’s thinking safety first! This really confirms to me that I need to move to Brentwood because all the celebrities live there!
I am still high from talking to Greg Grunberg the other day on the radio but I finally got to see Band From TV on the Jay Leno Show. Greg has been talking about how amazing it would be on Twitter at least once a day. And you know he was right. It was neat to see Hugh Laurie playing the piano again and singing … and Greg was on the drums singing away too. It was great! I can’t wait to see more from them!
