Jessica Alba Poses as Cruella de Vil

Posted by Jessica Rae on March 16, 2009 | 2 Comments

jessica-alba-fringe1Jessica Alba, talk to me here. What’s going on in your head that you’d knowingly step out the door in this ensemble? Obviously the biggest problem going on is your attempt to be Cruella de Vil with your fringey, feathered, black carcass of a cape. A feathered caplet could be done stylishly. But here’s a hint – not like this. This? This is scraggled and I could imagine finding it in the basement pile of some little girls ‘dress up’ pile of play-clothes.

And before you think that you’ll be fine if you just throw that off – no, not really. Listen, I dig the shoes, I dig the studded clutch…but the brown and the black….I’m not feeling it. If that dress was black, you’d have been golden. Er, you know what I mean! Please, don’t ever do this again.

Jessica Alba and her daughter, Honor, went and played at Coldwater Park today with Honor’s nanny. I couldn’t believe it when Jessica bent over and showed a ribbon her lower back. I had no clue she even had a tattoo nevermind one on her lower back!

Jessica Biel Does UK Marie Claire

Posted by taylor blue on October 24, 2008 | No Comments

Jessica Biel is the December 2008 cover girl for the UK edition of Marie Claire. Can you believe that it’s already the Christmas season??? In the interview with the magazine she talks about being a movie star and her biggest fear. Here are some highlights of the interview…

On posing for photographers: ‘It’s taken a few years to feel comfortable doing that sort of stuff. Even now I still feel sort of ridiculous.’

On music: ‘I like all that fun music, lots of old-school stuff and yes, some Whitesnake. Absolutely.’

On her recent interest in popular music: ‘I was sick and tired of not knowing who people were talking about.’

On becoming a movie star: ‘I never thought to myself, “I’m going to do this musical, then I’m going to be a movie star” I never made that jump. For a very long time I wasn’t thought of as anyone with any credibility in the film world. Everyone is tramping through the swamp everyday in this business’

On working in TV: ‘I was really up tight, when you work on television for a long time you’re in a really organized situation; in film, it’s so much more improvisational and relaxed.’

On being in the film ‘The Illusionist’:  ‘I was so thrilled to get that part, it was such a joy for me, oh it was great.’

On asked how she feels about aging: her biggest fear in life: ‘I don’t know – I better start figuring it out. I feel my knees changing – like, why do I have this pain when I’m running on the treadmill? What’s going on with my lower back when I wake up in the morning? I just feel changes.’

‘I’m definitely fearful in a very vain manner about aging. I think its freaky weird to look at a picture of your grandmother when she was a young woman then look at her now.’

On plastic surgery: ‘I’m really afraid of blades on my face. That freaks me out beyond belief. I would way rather have wrinkles than some slice up going on.’

On her high profile status: ‘It’s hard. The hardest part of this whole wonderful, bizarre lifestyle and profession. You have to be Zen about it, because it can make you crazy.’

On marriage and having kids: ‘I kind of go back and forth about marriage and kids. I feel like if it’s an organic way for me and the right time in my life then yeh. If it’s right, it’ll be right – but at this moment, that seems totally foreign.’

Jessica Alba and her husband, Cash Warren, and baby girl, Honor, were featured in Spanish OK Magazine. I can’t get over how much Honor looks like Cash! I would add some quotes from the article but I can’t read Spanish..

Jessica Alba Covers Cosmopolitan UK

Posted by taylor blue on July 12, 2008 | No Comments

Jessica Alba is the cover girl for UK Cosmopolitan magazine’s August 2008 edition. In the interview she opens up about being pregnant, her marriage and what she thought she never would do. Here are some highlights:

* On falling for Cash: “We met on the set of The Fantastic Four in 2005. I remember thinking right away, ‘What a great guy.’ The first week we got together, he gave me a note saying, ‘I really, really like you.’ And that was exactly how I felt. Cash believes, as I do, in taking life as it comes. Nothing was planned – the pregnancy or the wedding – but he took it in his stride and convinced me we’d conquer all! I love that. He makes me laugh more than anyone — and he’s great looking too…”

* On being pregnant: “I never felt less sexy. I mean, I wouldn’t have changed it for the world and my cravings weren’t so bad — I craved citrus fruits, like lemons, oranges and grapefruit. But I wanted to get rid of all the weight. It was also a great happiness, though and I certainly didn’t have any cravings not to be pregnant.”

* On what surprises her about men, and double standards: “How easily they’re attracted to the obvious. All you have to do is dress up in a sexy outfit. When I went blonde for Sin City three years ago, I swear I’ve never had more male attention. [...] I don’t like double standards. I’d never use a man for sex but I can understand why some women would – and I don’t see why they should be criticized for having the same attitude as men.”

* On her surprise wedding: “Well, we’d talked about the possibility of having a wedding before the birth, but nothing was decided. Then we just thought, ‘Why not?’ We wanted to do it for ourselves, not for anyone else, so it just made sense. It was very romantic, though. Cash designed the ring himself. He decided he wanted to wear one, too — I didn’t even have to force him! How he proposed is a secret but, needless to say, I said yes right away. We’re not a typical Hollywood couple. I love that he’s not an actor.”

* On dating actors: “I’m way too high maintenance to be in a relationship with an actor – they’re all such divas! They take longer in hair and makeup than I do. I used to do action scenes in the TV series Dark Angel and if you roughed one of them up, they’d complain. I remember accidentally hitting one guy on the jaw and he needed a 20 minute break so he could put ice on it. He even wanted X-rays! I was like, ‘Come on, get over it.’”

* On her life now: “I never thought I’d find a man before 30, let alone marry him and have his baby. I always used to meet the wrong guys – the ones who wanted to hang out for a week and see how far they could get. If you didn’t have sex in the first few days, you were either frigid or a lesbian. So I held out – and, boy, am I glad I did!”

Jessica Alba and Cash Warren spent a happy July 4th together … smiling. I can’t believe the trend in dresses lately. Long and comfortable. About time we don’t have to wear something tight!
