I am holding John Mayer primarily responsible for something…for letting the word douche be acceptable to be used on television. I know because of him I use the word quite often to explain how people just don’t get him. I think he’s a great douche. But I know there are many people that don’t agree.
How did douche ever make it onto television and how did it become appropriate to even utter something like that? And then there are those two other words b*tch and a*shat. I heard Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) utter a*shat and almost died. I called up Willow Raine and was like did I really hear that? And then I rewound it a couple of times.
Thinking about it now it seems that the most of the swearing I hear is on the CW. I wonder if they think that it makes their channel more hip and exciting. That’s what I do at night, I weigh all my options and say, “You know I am going to go with the channel that has more swearing in it because really that’s more of what I like.” I am totally wrong about that. I think that sometimes it’s used too much. If you can notice it it’s not being used right, at least in my opinion.
The days of George Carlin and his, Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television, might end up being phased into the television networks. I was actually watching it last week and I was roaring. I am sure that all those words will widely accepted by the end of 2010. So if swearing is something that is okay, when will nudity get here? We all know that those soap opera’s would be more exciting if there was some soft nudity. The housewives that take care of their kids all day (namely me) get bored and really need something to spice up their day. An actor going into the shower with a bare butt would work for me. That would energize my whole day.
Swearing and nudity. I think that would be a great way to go for the television networks. I hope you are listening to me…
I was pleasantly surprised when I heard John Mayer’s new single, Half Of My Heart. Taylor Swift does background vocals on this song. This song is off his upcoming album, Battle Studies. And so far, I am loving it all.

John is playing here in April and I’m dying to go to the concert. I have this huge crush on him and I think he would be awesome to go see live. I hope I can get there. (And it would be my first concert I ever go to.)
I think it’s been a full week of John Mayer here but someone has to love him and if it’s me, so be it. Today is his birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN! He also released the cover of his new album Battle Studies today on Twitter. I am really looking forward to this album.
I know that I don’t write about John Mayer as much as I used to but I have been following his latest projects behind the scenes. He’s been working on new music and I was just dying to know what it might sound like. I finally got my answer when he finally debuted his video for the song, Who Says. (If you look closely you can see his apartment featured in the video.) I like this new song. And it has a lot of guitar. I love my guitar.
I was talking to someone last night about music. Music has been a huge part of my life and I love to talk about it. I revealed that I love guitarists. If I were to tell you some of my favorite songs you could hear their is a lot of guitar work in the songs. (I really need to learn the language yet!)
My realizing how John Mayer as a musician only really hit me. I started liking what he did because he has a sense of humor and no one really gets it…I do! And then I heard this on YouTube…and I was smitten by him. I love the way he plays that guitar of his. John has been working on a new album and now he has released his single art for his new song, Who Says. I can’t wait to hear the new song.
It must be something about those hands in that picture…
I kind of fell into following this story today. I noticed earlier that my post on John Mayergetting arrested was getting a bit of attention, so in true new Googling style I sent over a tweet to John asking him if he really did get arrested. I got a reply from one of my loyal followers that John had issued a challenge to TMZ. They find his mugshot and John will donate money to the animals.
John should have known that it would be found. I would be hard pressed to not be able to find anything that you wanted on the internet, which is really scary if you think about it. Well TMZ ended up finding it…
John was arrested on May 26, 2001 for driving with a suspended license in Atlanta. The case was dismissed exactly one month later on June 26. (That is so hot he was a rebel!)
The latest tweet from John actually showed that he was going to donate the $25 000 to two charities. As if I had any doubt that it would be found.
