Vanessa Hudgens Covers Parade Magazine

Vanessa Hudgens is the pinup cover girl for Parade magazine this week. I am liking this new grown-up Vanessa. In the interview she talks about the haters, the paparazzi and being a mom’s girl. Here are the highlights:

On the nude picture scandal and how she’s moving on from it: “That’s why I’m extremely guarded. I really do try to watch everything I say. Because one little tiny slip, and it’s like the world is coming to an end! It is hard. I do always have a wall up. But I feel by doing it, I keep myself safe. I try to live my life, do what I want, and just let everything else follow along. I try not to read the blogs or what people say about me. Because that’s what brings everybody down–no matter what you do, you’re always going to have haters.”

On hiding from the paparazzi: “I keep my head down. Usually I’ll run around in hoodies, and I’ve got this massive head of hair, and I throw it all in my face so that nobody can see me. But if I want to do something, I’m going to do it, and if people recognize me, the fans, then great. They’re the reason why High School Musical is what it is, and they’re the reason why I’m here, so I’m thankful.”

On being a mama’s girl: “I got her fired once. I was calling her at work way too much, because I missed her. Back then, I was so shy, I did not want to leave her side. I would call her at work nonstop, to the point where she got fired. It was horrible.”

On moving out of her parents house: “I feel like I need to earn my right to have a home. It’s nice to be spoiled, but I want to be able to know that I can do it. [My parents] know I’m growing up, and they’re proud that I can actually have my own home. Of course I think they’re worried to a certain extent. But they’re so proud of me.”

On getting used to living on her own: “It’s weird living by myself. I thought I’d be the person who, every time I hear a little noise, would hide under my bed. But I’ve fallen in love with my home. When I’m in there, I feel safe. I don’t think I’ve gotten scared once–knock on wood–in my house by myself. Then again, I do sleep with the TV on so that I don’t hear all the little clinks and clanks at night!”

Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgen’s Cuddle At A B-Ball Game

Zac Efron and girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, were spotted cuddling in the front row Los Angeles Lakers’ opening playoff game against the Utah Jazz at Staples Center on Sunday. They are so cute cuddling and cheering together during the game.

Zac has a lot to celebrate since his movie 17 Again topped the box office this weekend blowing Hannah Montana out of the water. I think I would be more apt to go see a movie with Zac in it than Miley Cyrus…but I am a huge High School Musical fan. And Russell Crowe’s movie State Of Play came in second.

Vanessa Hudgens Filling Up

I’m not sure how Vanessa Hudgens does it, but she makes getting gas look like fun. And so glamorous too! It is being reported that she could be in the new movie Dead @ 17, playing a murdered teenager that comes back to life to fight evil. Now that is a role I would love to see her do. I think she deserves to be known for something other than a singing Disney Girl. (I even watched High School Musical 3 today…it was way different than I thought it would be.)

Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens Catch A Lakers Game

How cute do Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens look together at a Lakers game on Tuesday night in Los Angeles? I think they are one of the cutest celebrity couples around. And I wasn’t sure how long after High School Musical 3 came out that they would stay together. I guess it is true love.

What do you think of Zac’s scruffy look. I think it makes him look manly! Maybe he should have permanent facial hair. I think that’s hot on a guy.

Vanessa Hudgens Gossips About Zac Efron To Ellen Degeneres

Vanessa Hudgens was on the Ellen Degeneres Show yesterday talking about High School Musical among other things… Ellen Degeneres said she wouldn’t talk about Zac Efron and then started asking questions about him. She went on to answer them…

Ellen: “What does he like for breakfast? Is he a cereal guy?”
Vanessa: More of an eggs kind of guy.
Ellen: Like scrambled, over easy?
Vanessa: If he’s feeling lazy he just drinks them.
Ellen: Really? Does he really?
Vanessa: Not most of the time, but every now and then.
Ellen: Ok, that doesn’t seem safe.
She asks about his eye color (blue) and whether he’s had a flu shot (yes) and then asks, “He’s a good kisser, I assume?” Vanessa hedges.
Ellen: Well, you’ve got to say yes.
Vanessa: Ok, yes, fine.

I can’t believe she actually did! And Zac eats raw eggs?? EWWWWW…See the interview after the jump…
