Ed Westwick was on Jimmy Fallon’s show on Wednesday night. I think I am going to hit every interview that Ed does because it sounds so weird hearing his English accent. Jimmy decided he would play a fun game of ‘Bass Masters’ where they had to spin the wheel and then do a Chuck Bass impression. I almost think Jimmy has the impression down better than Ed. What do you think?
Finally we get to see some Chuck Bass on the Gossip Girl set. It seems like forever since the last time they had pictures of them out. Ed Westwick always looks so different in his ‘Chuck’ outfits. I wonder if he talks like Chuck from the moment he changes or it’s only when the camera goes on? His accent is pretty dreamy, I wish they incorporated it into the story line.
I watched P.S. I Love You again this weekend, although I’m sure some of you know from me discussing it on Twitter. Every time I watch it I fall in love with Gerard Butler even more. I think it’s the accent personally.
I read today that Gerard is obsessed with something. And for once in my life I’m happy that I have the same obsession as someone else. Gerard used to be into some bad things but he replaced it all with a couple of better not so self-destructive things.
“It didn’t feel right so perhaps if I’d started acting earlier, maybe I would have sorted myself out earlier.
Now it’s just women and song. And coffee and Coca Cola. I’ve always been a bit of an addict, so when I stopped drinking and smoking, there were times even last year when I was drinking eight to 10 cans of Coca-Cola a day.”
I am so addicted to Coke myself. I drink way too much of it to even be healthy anymore. I’m glad I’m not alone in my addiction. But I must say, I never drink coffee and never have. Maybe if Gerard introduced me to it I would?
Growing up I was always obsessed with accents. They made my world go around. And they still do. What I thought was the cutest thing about Gerard Butler was his Scottish accent. It was not too bold and not too weak. Now a source is reporting that Gerard is slowing losing his accent and he doesn’t like it. (Whether I believe the story is to be seen but it sounds cute so I’m going with it.)
“I have to confess I always hated any person from Scotland who went and lost their accent in the slightest. When Sheena Easton made it in America and suddenly started talking in an accent, I swore and threw shoes at her on television. But I’ve spent a year and a half now playing roles as an American and I’m not comfortable enough doing those accents only when we film, so I have to keep it up all the time. I really hate myself for doing that.”
Don’t hate yourself Gerard. I just think you need to go back to Scotland for a bit to get it back.
I have to thankLong Legs O’Loughlin for posting this video of Alex O’Loughlin talking about his role on Three Rivers. He plays Dr. Andy Yablonski on the new show. Alex talks about the research that went into his role and how the character is based on Dr.Gonzo Gonzalez-Stawinski. It looks like Alex did a great job because looking at the clips of the show he says everything effortlessly.
And really, I can handle listening to his Aussie accent for three minutes.
“I love London. It’s my favorite city in the world. I’m shooting my new show and having an amazing time.” Paris Hilton added: ‘I love the Brits, they rock! Everything from their personalities, style and of course the accents. I’d love to live here one day.”
