I’m calling the Best Picture Oscar right now. It will be Avatar. And then the Best Director, of course, James Cameron. But I digress. “So, when I was comforting you after your break up with your boyfriend…that was our boss who is married to our other boss?” says a nearly naked Dylan Hewitt – he is clearly in over his head during his first week at his new job.

Fresh out of law school, The Deep End, starring Billy Zane (Titanic), follows five new law associates as they learn that there’s more to law, love, and money than they ever could have imagined. Thrown into the deep end of the pool, these newbies will either sink or swim.  Tonight at 8/7c, ABC premieres their new drama The Deep End, followed by an all new Grey’s Anatomy.

Here is the synopsis for the first episode, Pilot: Dylan (Matt Long) is given an impossible pro bono custody case, Beth (Leah Pipes) keeps mum when a 90-year-old man signs an agreement thinking that she’s his daughter, Liam (Ben Lawson) must get a client to sign with the firm under false pretenses, Addy (Tina Majorino) finally gets some attention from her boss when she speaks her mind, and Malcolm (Mehcad Brooks) gets off on the wrong foot when he’s hired outside of the firm’s traditional process.

While these five ambitious associates struggle to adjust their appetites and ideals to the fast-paced demands of their jobs, they’re faced with the warring partners at Sterling who hold the keys to their future, and a reluctant mentor, Rowdy (Norbert Leo Butz), who tries to guide them and the firm through the trenches. For Dylan, saving face with one partner in particular is much more difficult after he falls for the firm’s paralegal — unbeknownst to him, she’s already in bed with firm partner Cliff Huddle (Billy Zane), who is married to fellow partner Susan Oppenheim (Nicole Ari Parker) and fighting for the soul of the firm with its namesake, Hart Sterling (Clancy Brown).

Gerard Butler was strutting his stuff the other day in while he was coming back from eating at West Hollywood’s Toast restaurant. I am sure that whatever he had to eat was amazing. It seems that many celebrities eat that place. Gerard still is oozing charm. I guess I will just always say that about him.

Gerard will be a presenter at that 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards that airs January 17th on NBC. I will be watching that!

The People’s Choice nominations were announced today. I was one of those people who voted for my favorites so this was neat to see if my choices made it. Twilight, House, Vampire Diaries, Three Rivers and Gossip Girl made it. But Zachary Levi didn’t make the list. I think that I nominated him for every category. I guess it doesn’t work that way.

I don’t know if it’s me but I’ve been kinda confused all season. I think I missed some parts that I really needed to see.,  That being said I think that both Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki have been really been able to explore their characters more this year and put more depth into them.

The next episode, airing November 12th, is called The Real Ghostbusters. And it goes like this: Super fan Becky (guest star Emily Perkins) uses Chuck’s (guest star Chuck Benedict) phone to trick Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) into attending a Supernatural fan convention, complete with fans dressed up as Sam and Dean. One of the activities is a live action role playing game, but things quickly turn sour after a real ghost appears on the scene.

I think the gods over at Supernatural have listened to my prayers and brought Jensen Ackles back in scrubs. I have been waiting for this moment!

Episode eight is called, Changing Channels, and it looks like it will be in my top three favorite episodes. I like the ones where they change it up a bit. (And Jensen in scrubs a big thumbs up.) The synopsis is this, airs Nov. 5: “When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) find themselves living their lives on what appear to be TV shows, it makes for a whole new style of reality television and they wonder if the Trickster (guest star Richard Speight, Jr.) is to blame. From a sitcom to a soapy hospital drama to a Japanese game show to a crime procedural, each new experience they encounter is more bizarre than the next and they want out. But is the Trickster really the mastermind behind the madness?

I can’t believe they already have the stills out for the second episode of the third season of Gossip Girl out.,  The episode is called, The Freshman. Although there isn’t any official synopsis out yet, you can tell that they must be at a freshman party. And Blair and Georgina have a talk in the girl’s room. You do know what kinds of things are discussed in there don’t you? I guess we will have to find out. This episode airs on September 21st.

Here is the synopsis: Blair (Leighton Meester), who is determined to maintain her Queen status in college, embarks on her first day at NYU, along with Dan (Penn Badgley) and Vanessa (Jessica Szohr). Unfortunately, Georgina (guest star Michelle Trachtenberg) turns up as Blair’s roommate in the dorms, determined to make Blair a social outcast. As Serena (Blake Lively) prepares to depart for Brown, she and Chuck (Ed Westwick) have a major falling out, so she recruits Chuck’s enemy, Carter (guest star Sebastian Stan), to help her get even. Nate (Chace Crawford) and Bree (guest star JoAnna Garcia) decide to explore their relationship further, knowing full well it could cause tension between their families who are political rivals.

We saw Britney Spears in a bikini for the the shooting of this commercial here and finally we get to see what it was for. Britney and Russell Brand shot a VMA Music Award commercial for the second year in a row. I actually laughed at this one a couple of times watching it. I have to admit that I didn’t like Russell until I watched him last year hosting the awards show.

“If you knew what your future held, what would you do”?

This is what the new show Flash Forward is going to look at. What would you do if you got a glimpse into the future? I admit that I only wanted to watch this show because of Dominic Monaghan but then I started looking about what the show was really about and I was intrigued.

It’s based on the sci-fi novel by Robert J. Sawyer, this series follows the repercussions of a cataclysmic event that knocks out the entire population of the world for two minutes and 17 seconds at the same time, allowing everyone to see several months into their own futures. The series main focus is on a group of characters determined to figure out how and why this unprecedented event took place and how they might be able to change their unsettling futures.

So in the first episode they are setting the framework for all the chaos and turmoil and how they see the future. The Pilot episode premieres on September 24th on ABC.

It was revealed earlier in the year that Ed Westwick would appear in an episode of Californication. So we finally have the first look of Ed on the 2nd episode of the third season (which airs on September 27).,  Ed plays Balt, a college student at the university where main character Hank Moody (David Duchovny) is now teaching. And by the looks of the girl at his bedside it can’t be a hard job at all.
