Johnny Depp As The Mad Hatter Is Brilliant

By now everyone has heard that Johnny Depp is the Sexiest Man Alive. There were good reasons why he was picked too. Like take for instance his role as The Mad Hatter in Alice In Wonderland. He’s going to blow a lid off that role.  I wish March 5th, 2010 would get here quicker.

And you haven’t heard me say it before…Tim Burton is a genius.

The Alice In Wonderland Extended Trailer

Posted by taylor blue on October 28, 2009 | No Comments

In this new trailer for Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland it gives us such a better glimpse into that world. Growing up that was always my favorite story because you know we would all like to imagine that falling in a hole would make us go to a different world. I have always hated my own world growing up.

I have to say that Johnny Depp’s character looks very Mad Hatterish here. Very eerie and dark. I can’t wait to go see it in the theater on March 5, 2010.

Fringe & Alice In Wonderland: Is There A Connection?

Fringe Poster/Alice In Wonderland Theory

Since I have a fair bit of time on my hands now that the kids are back to school I have decided to widen my horizons and start reading blogs in different languages. WillowRaine showed me the translation button about a month ago and there has been no stopping me.  I find there is alot of great TV show websites that are not in English. And this one site in particular is amazing.

Pizquita posted a picture of the Fringe promo poster and tied it into the theme of Alice In Wonderland. I know that sometimes I get involved with the theories and then focus on that and not watch the show because I am trying to figure out my next theory.  Here is what they said about the reference to the circled numbers.

1. The flashlight in the hand of Olivia and Peter will be equal to the blue flashes
2. Slushie drink in the hand of Walter and appeared in the series and has become a trade mark of JJ Abrams.
3. The toad.
4. Yellow dots are scattered by the poster.
5. The leaf.
6. The hand with six fingers.
7. Seahorses
8. The letter from the queen of hearts, referring to the book Alice in Wonderland.
9. The flower.
10. The white rabbit, another reference to the story.
11. The observer.
12. A building with the logo of the Massive Dynamic.
13. The apple.
14. The face in the smoke.
15. The butterfly.

So do you think that Fringe is just really the parallel universe to Alice In Wonderland. (I really have no clue what I just asked so ignore me.)

Special thanks to Pizquita for their hard work with this.

I was out playing in the river when I got a text on my phone that I needed to get home and post the trailer for Alice in Wonderland because it was just that awesome. I ended up packing everyone up and getting out of there as fast as I could. And now I can show you the teaser trailer for Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland. Dark and amazing looking for sure. And with a cast like it has could there be anything less?

Make sure you reserve March 5th, 2010 for the day you go to the movie theater to see it. I know I will be there the Mad Hatter is driving me wild!

UPDATE
: I am trying to keep up with them pulling the trailer and finding a new one. Hopefully this one will work for awhile.

A Comic-Con Look At Alice In Wonderland

Alice In Wonderland Comic Con Sneak Peek

Every time I see something new from Tim Burton’s version of Alice in Wonderland I get more and more impressed. I know that Tim is already a genius but he’s really on to something here. EW has a sneek peak of Mia Wasikowska playing Alice. Tim explains the movie:

”It’s about somebody who has a rich fantasy life, who feels alone in a strange world. Pretty much my life.”

They have also confirmed it’s coming out on March 10, 2010. I’m sure we will see more of what the movie will look like before then.

Four New Promo Pics For Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland

Mia Wasikowska as Alice

I had seen these pictures leaked before but finally I had a chance to get good copies of the pictures.  It’s interesting to note that the White Queen (Anne Hathaway) doesn’t appear in the book Alice In Wonderland but makes her appearance in the sequel, Through The Looking Glass, as a chess piece. It makes you wonder what Tim Burton’s Wonderland will be about then. It should be interesting to find out on March 5, 2010 in both 2D and 3D.
