The Hills premieres tomorrow and everyone is talking about the addition to Kristen Cavallari and how much she will be earning for this season’s stunt. Now we all remember that Lauren Conrad was paid $125,000 an episode so who on the cast even gets paid near that amount? Find out below.
Audrina Patridge has finally decided to head away from the hills and leave. Now you can only imagine how this makes me feel. Because now with Lauren Conrad and Audrina gone it’s going to become the Speidi show. I don’t really care to watch them all the time. I am sure that they are gloating in the fact that they will be the center of the universe.
“I’m almost done with The Hills. We’re in the middle of finishing these episodes, and I’ll be leaving then,” she revealed. “It feels like I’m graduating. I’m taking the next step and growing up and maturing and moving on in my life.”
I hope she goes on to something successful. OR maybe if she doesn’t she can go back to The Hills. A girl can dream can’t she?
You can say what you want about The Hills but this is one damn fine cast picture. I don’t see anyone that isn’t good looking in this picture. The new season premiere is next Monday, April 6th.
“I actually thought last season was going to be my last,” [Lauren says]. “[But] the producers wanted to hopefully give the show some sort of closure and needed one more season. I didn’t have that much conflict in my life over the last few months.” She adds, “I think I only cry in one episode.”
I wonder how Heidi Montag’s pregnancy will fit into the story line?
I have to give props to the photographer of these shots though. The guys Spencer Pratt, Justin Bobby and Brody Jenner all look very hot. This season should be an exciting one. I’ll miss it not being on since it was one of my guilty pleasures.
Why does MTV even bother anymore? Fashionista found out the other day that Whitney Port might not really work at the place that The City takes place.
“Well, she just goes into the office to shoot scenes like she works there, like what they did on The Hills. Actually, it’s kind of sad. When they film her spots, they make the girls that actually work there move from their desks and into some cubicles in another part of the floor, because they’re actually working, but the camera people want Whitney and her on-screen work friend to look like they have real desks.â€
So why do they keep it up? I have heard people say it’s like wrestling…we all know those story lines are fake yet we keep watching (Psst…Triple H and Stephanie McMahon are married and have kids!!)Â Defamer made a great list of the cast’s fake and real jobs…
LAUREN CONRAD Show Storyline: According to the show, Lauren is a student at FIDM. She began the show with a long internship at Teen Vogue, then moved to a job at frightening PR firm People’s Revolution. Unshown, Real-Life Storyline: Lauren is a fashion designer who has shown at the last two LA Fashion Weeks. The show persists in insisting that she is still just a student at FIDM, despite the fact that FIDM students tell Defamer that she only sets foot on campus to film scenes for The Hills. Paparazzi, who follow Lauren relentlessly, never photograph her at the school she supposedly goes to. She has also inked a terrible deal to attempt sentences longer than three words as a young adult writer.
AUDRINA PATRIDGE Show Storyline: Audrina worked at Quixote Studios as a blank-eyed receptionist before transferring to a job at Epic Records, where she annoys fellow coworker Chiara with boring stories about fake on/off boyfriend Justin Bobby. Unshown, Real-Life Storyline: Audrina has leveraged brand-new breasts into an acting career, appearing in films like Into the Blue 2: The Reef and Sorority Row. If you call Epic to do business with Audrina, you will be informed, “I’m sorry, she isn’t here,” because she doesn’t actually work there.
WHITNEY PORT Show Storyline: Like Lauren, Whitney started her career at Teen Vogue before moving to People’s Revolution. Now, she has moved to New York for spinoff show The City, where she is working for Diane Von Furstenberg. Unshown, Real-Life Storyline: Except she, too, doesn’t actually work there. Again, like Lauren, Whitney has started her own off-camera clothing line, Eve & A. Also, despite the MTV-engineered romance she will have in her upcoming show, Whitney has been dating film critic Ben Lyons, not rocker Jay Lyon.
HEIDI MONTAG Show Storyline: Heidi managed to fail upward in a job with Bolthouse Productions, until she was fake-fired this season. Reports suggest, though, that she will return to her job in some capacity. Unshown, Real-Life Storyline: Even Heidi’s consummate fakery couldn’t sell the idea that she ever truly worked at Bolthouse. The real Heidi is a beloved recording artist.
This is seriously crazy…why not come out with it already? But really are we shocked with this anymore? I am…I thought The Hills was real. I will just go cry in the corner.
Audrina Patridge is looking like she wants to get into the Twilight movie making action. It is being said that she is studying the Twilight books so she can audition to be in the next installment, New Moon.
“I would definitely love to play one of the vampires. I don’t know which one because there’s so many in the fourth book that come in,” she enthused. “I’d have to go in and read all the vampires again and see which one I’d absolutely want to play, but I would love to [be a part of it]!”
There are more vampires that come in? Now she spoiled it for me because I am only half way through New Moon. I’m not sure if she would be good at a vampire movie though. Who knows she could be one of those girls that run away from them.
Someone is in big do do for this mistake. They spelled Ashlee Simpson’s name as ‘Ashley’ and now someone is going to get fired for it. I don’t blame them. Misspelling people’s names, especially on a magazine shouldn’t happen. (Yeah, right!) I can’t tell you how many times I have misspelt Audrina Patridge’s name, and Josh Hartnett’s…and my favorite is Naomi Watts. But I think at a magazine you would have about a dozen proofreaders and they should have caught it.
